My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 761

Just as Lionel finished watching the video, he heard Cherry’s words. He froze for a few seconds, then slowly lifted his gaze to her. “Are you saying Quennel came here yesterday?”

“Yeah, he did. Why, didn’t you know?” Cherry raised an eyebrow, a sly glint in her eyes as she took in Lionel’s clueless expression.

She mused aloud, “Quennel came over yesterday, and his attitude was decent enough, I guess. He just kept asking me to delete the content I’d posted. But even if I deleted it now, it wouldn’t matter. All the gossip blogs have already reposted it.”

“Anyway, let’s not talk about that. Quennel’s business has nothing to do with you. Let’s talk about why you’re here.”

Cherry deftly changed the subject.

Samuel’s eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed intently on Lionel. “A moment ago, you seemed to be implying that Hannah told the Elders something, didn't you? But you’ve seen the videos. Everything that happened is right there.”

“Quennel and the three Elders from the Rosenberg family came, and not once was your name mentioned. Yet here you are, accusing Hannah. Did you hear something somewhere else that made you come here with these suspicions?”

Looking at Lionel, Samuel couldn't help but suspect that someone had set him up again. The man was truly a fool, believing whatever anyone told him.

To have lived so long and still be played like a fiddle by others was just pathetic.
