My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 337

“Hannah didn’t help when Jason was attacking you?” he asked.

Sandra shook her head. “No. Mr. Temple and Samuel were there, too.” She paused, then reached out from under the covers and took Lionel’s hand.

“But it’s understandable. I was the one who asked Mr. Cooper for the videos, so it’s only right that Hannah resents me. Don’t blame her.”

“I don’t blame her.”

Sandra’s fingers trembled. A flicker of disappointment and fear crossed her face.

“You should get some rest. I’ve arranged for a private nurse,” Lionel said, standing up and letting her hand slide from his. “I have things to take care of, so I’m leaving.”

“Okay. Be careful on the road. I can take care of myself.”

As soon as Lionel left, Owen stepped up to her bed and whispered, “Don’t worry, I’ve completely destroyed the surveillance footage on the USB drive.” He gently patted her hand. Sandra immediately grabbed his hand in return.

“Thank you.”

Owen smiled, withdrew his hand, and left the room.

The moment the door clicked shut, Sandra let out a huge sigh of relief.

That damn Hannah, daring to use such a trick.

But even with that copy destroyed, the master footage still existed at the Temple estate.

If Lionel brought it up again, Hannah could simply produce the original, and her lies would still be exposed.
