Chapter 95 A Bad Word and a Big Kiss
“Holy crap!” Nina blurted out in her milky baby voice.
Then she burst into giggles.
Daniel froze solid.
Benjamin’s face instantly darkened.
Daniel’s legs turned to jelly.
“N-Nina! No, no, no, don’t copy me! Benjamin, I swear it was an accident!”
Finished
He frantically tried to correct Nina while begging Benjamin for mercy with every survival instinct he had.
He genuinely had no idea kids picked up swear words like that!
His pleading did zero good.
The look Benjamin gave him screamed that he was dead.
“Please, Nina’s right here…” Daniel’s voice shrank with every word.
Benjamin said nothing, just stared.
A few seconds later, Daniel’s handsome face fell. He accepted his fate and bent his head forward. “Fine… but go easy. I’m your real brother!”
He tried one last pathetic appeal to family ties.
Benjamin’s palm instantly crushed that hope.
“Ow!” Daniel clutched his head and dramatically wailed, turning it into a teachable moment for Nina. “See? I got hit because I said a bad word. If you copy me, you get hit too! Do you wanna get hit?”
He rubbed his head like he was dying. Nina instinctively reached up and touched her own head. “No hit Nina! Nina sick!”
She was genuinely scared of getting smacked.
She looked up with a super serious little face. “I eat meds!”
To avoid punishment, she desperately emphasized her patient status.
Daniel nearly melted from the cuteness.
If he wasn’t on a mission to properly educate her, he would’ve scooped her up and showered her with kisses.
Daniel added, “Yeah! I know you’re sick. Anyway, no more copying me, okay? Even sick kids get smacked for
bad words.”
Daniel’s lesson worked. Nina didn’t repeat the word again.

Chapter 95 A Bad Word and a Big Kiss
Seeing Nina was now properly educated, Benjamin picked her up and returned to his room.
Nina still hadn’t washed up or changed.
Benjamin had to get her ready before breakfast.
“Daddy, no wash face! Eat!”
Nina was not easy to wrangle. Even washing her face was a battle.
Her mood flipped like a switch.
Yesterday morning, she’d happily washed her face; but today, she refused.
Benjamin had no good tricks to coax her.
He ended up chasing her around with a damp towel.
Just taking care of Nina all morning felt more exhausting than a two-hour workout.
Next door, without Nina’s usual wake-up service, Amelia slept later than normal.
“Nina…” She reached out half-asleep, groping the bed several times with no success.
She pushed herself up. “Nina? Benjamin?”
No sign of them. She blinked, slowly waking up.
She grabbed her phone and texted Benjamin, “Where’s Nina?”
Benjamin didn’t reply. He had no free hands to check his phone.
He was currently chasing Nina with her tiny shoes.
Nina was on a full exploration mission; she had to inspect every corner of his room!
Benjamin trailed behind, holding the shoes.
“Nina, be good.”
He’d repeated that sentence all morning; she still ignored him.
While Nina terrorized her dad, Amelia quickly freshened up and came looking.
“Nina, what are you doing?”
The second Amelia appeared, the little troublemaker froze and stood still obediently.
She lifted one bare, cubby foot.
“Mommy, shoe! Nina shoe!”

She wiggled her foot, demanding to be dressed. Benjamin was speechless at the instant personality switch.

He crouched down; speechless or not, he slipped the light-up shoes onto her fat little feet first.
After they were on, Nina stomped twice on the floor.
They fit perfectly. She grinned.

Right after smiling, her plump little body leaned closer to Benjamin.
And the next second, she planted a loud kiss on his right cheek.
The kiss was soft, warm, and faintly sweet.
Benjamin didn’t feel repulsed at all.
Instead, a strange, indescribable warmth spread through his chest. He couldn’t quite name it, but he didn’t dislike it.
While Benjamin was still processing the moment-the feel of it, the warmth on his skin-Nina had already kissed him and run off.
