Miracle Cutie (Amelia and Benjamin) novel Chapter 94

Chapter 94 Morning Misunderstandings

Amelia touched the large hand, frowning even deeper.

Still asleep, she mumbled, “Nina, your hand is so big. You grew up.”

Muttering to herself, her knitted brows slowly relaxed again.

Half asleep and confused, she let Benjamin’s big hand fool her completely.

Holding his hand, she rubbed her cheek against it.

“Nina, sleep,” she murmured as she nuzzled in, then drifted off again.

Benjamin’s hand was dry and a little rough.

Finished

His fingers were long and well-shaped, though the center of his palm was slightly calloused from years of training.

After leaning against his hand for a while, Amelia felt it wasn’t very comfortable.

She pulled the hand away from her cheek and hugged it to her chest instead.

That position felt better.

She kept shifting around in her sleep, and eventually, she realized that no matter how she hugged it, Benjamin’s hand just didn’t feel comfortable.

So she made a tiny, disgruntled face and tossed his hand away.

Benjamin watched silently, letting her wriggle around the bed whenever she pleased.

A few times, Amelia rolled toward him and bumped against him.

All Benjamin did was quietly pull the blanket over her again.

Once, when Daniel was thirteen, he visited a haunted house attraction and ended up terrified. In the middle of the night, he insisted on crawling into Benjamin’s bed.

Benjamin allowed him in after endless begging, b

the moment Daniel’s messy sleeping posture made him

roll over and touch Benjamin, he was kicked right out.

Benjamin had always been a neat freak, strict about personal space,

He hated people touching him-even his own brother wasn’t allowed.

All through the night, the steady ticking of the clock carved time into the darkness,

Tonight, though, he never once slept.

By early morning, Nina-barely rested but no longer crying-rubbed her little fists against her eyes and woke up.

Chapter 94 Morning Misunderstandings

Her favorite morning routine was giving Amelia kisses.

Eyes still half-shut, she puckered up and started planting kisses.

After a few kisses, she realized something tasted wrong.

Nina pulled her little face back fast, eyes popping open.

“Daddy!”

She finally recognized Benjamin.

Finished

Benjamin had held her the entire night. Even with his exceptional stamina, his arms were stiff and numb.

He nodded and gently set her down.

“Do you still feel uncomfortable?” he asked while flexing his arms.

Nina shook her head, then nodded. She couldn’t explain her own feelings.

So she just shook her head wildly. “Nina dunno!”

Benjamin steadied her head with his hand. “Don’t shake like that. You’ll

get

dizzy.”

Nina didn’t listen-she seemed to have entered a rebellious phase.

The more he told her not to do it, the more she shook.

Seeing this, Benjamin said calmly, “Then keep shaking. Shake one more time.”

Nina shouted, “No!”

The moment her dad encouraged her, she froze and stopped immediately.

But while the two of them were teasing each other, Amelia was still asleep.

Benjamin looked at the noisy little girl and knew she would wake Amelia soon.

He thought for a moment, then grabbed her clothes and carried her out of the room.

Nina didn’t fight it at all. She assumed he was taking her out to play.

“Daddy, my cup!”

“I’ll get it later.”

Benjamin stepped out of the room with Nina in his arms, only to hear a shocked yelp.

It was Daniel, who had also come out.
