Chapter 84 Your Career Ends Here
Levi was on cloud nine after Mia’s sweet promises; his ego was through the roof.
When Darius burst in, Levi didn’t even bother standing up to greet him.
“Hey, Darius, you’re back?” He lounged in the chair, grinning like they were equals.
Darius stared him down with an icy glare that wiped the smile right off Levi’s face.
Finished
“What happened?” Levi felt a vague sense of danger. He finally stood up and his tone grew noticeably more cautious than before.
Darius still didn’t speak. He simply stared at him in silence.
The longer Darius stared, the more nervous Levi became, until beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead.
Only when Levi clearly looked frightened did Darius finally ask, in an icy voice, “Who told you to do it?”
Levi blinked. “What? I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Seeing him feign ignorance, Darius let out a short, humorless laugh.
“You bullied Amelia while I was gone. You changed the script on purpose. Who told you to do it? And don’t give me that nonsense about improving the scene.
“I’ve been in this industry for years. Your little tricks fool no one.
“I’m only asking once. Who told you to act like this?”
Darius needed a name to report upstairs. But Levi clamped his mouth shut.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew Darius wasn’t letting this slide.
He also figured someone powerful had stepped in for Amelia.
. He guessed Daniel. He never even considered that in all of Averton, the one person you absolutely could
not afford to offend was the man with real power: Benjamin.
Levi was still being stubborn and said, “No one told me to do anything. I had no bad intentions toward Amelia. I really just…”
Darius waved a hand, cutting off the excuses he didn’t want to hear.
“I’ll make it simple. If you tell me who’s behind you, you still have a chance. If you refuse to speak, then you’re done. In this industry, your career ends here.”
A flash of disdain crossed Levi’s eyes.
He didn’t believe Daniel had the reach to blacklist him.
Everyone knew Daniel had money but no real authority in the Graham Group; just a rich kid with a good family name.

Chapter 84 Your Career Ends Here
Killing Zoe’s career? Easy. Killing mine? Not a chance.
Finished
Levi was betting on Mia, the heiress with real capital behind her. So he ignored Darius’ final warning.
Levi said, “If you don’t believe me, fine.”
“I don’t,” Darius said flatly. “We’re done working together. Good luck out there.”
Since Darius fired him so decisively, Levi lost his temper too.
He sneered, “Fine, since you said it like that, I’d be shameless if I stayed.
“I’ll leave right now! But let me tell you this-without you, I’ll only shine brighter!”
Darius replied coldly, “Well, take care.”
They completely fell out. Watching Levi walk away, Darius knew very clearly that this idiot’s movie career was truly over.
News of Levi getting fired spread like wildfire across the entire studio lot.
By the time it hit the internet, it had already snowballed.
The “Danelia” ship tag exploded like it was Christmas.
[Ahhh! This is too good to be true!]
[So sweet! Daniel is seriously protecting our Lia!]
[Lia, I need this man to be your boyfriend! So powerful!]
Among the candy posts, a few rational fans felt something was off.
[Am I the only one who thinks this doesn’t feel like Daniel’s style? His moves are never this fast.]
[Has anyone noticed Daniel hasn’t interacted with Lia in ages?]
[Yeah, Daniel is always quick online. He used to chase Zoe very publicly. But with Lia? There’s nothing romantic going on.]
