Chapter 432 Lester’s Show-off Photo
Lester’s warning went in one ear and out the other.
Nina was stubborn. If she wanted to wear band-aids on her cheeks, that was exactly what she was going to do.
Seeing how determined she was, Lester didn’t push the issue any further.
Maybe all that running around with the other kids had worn her out, because by early afternoon, Nina was clearly fighting sleep, rubbing her eyes and yawning.
Nelson tried to take her to a room to nap.
But Nina refused.
Instead, she had Lester hold her, and she fell fast asleep in his arms.
Lester’s large hands cradled Nina, who trusted him so completely. For a second, he really wanted to video call Benjamin just to rub it in. Too bad that’s not happening right now.
Looking down at the peacefully sleeping child, Lester narrowed his eyes slightly. He pulled out his phone and snapped a few pictures.
The photos showed him holding a child. The child’s face wasn’t visible, but one tiny hand clutching the fabric of his shirt was.
Lester posted the photo to his social media.
Comments started rolling in almost immediately.
[Such a sweet picture.]
[Wow, that’s so heartwarming.]
[Strange? Is this really posted by Lester’s account?]
[Is this taken by Lester? Why is there a child in the picture?]
[Such a cute little hand, I noticed it right away.]
There were plenty of comments-compliments, curiosity, confusion.
But none were nasty.

Until a user with the handle “Dan” started spamming the comments with angry emojis.

[Damn Lester! Stop messing with my kid!]
[Let go of my baby!]
[That’s my baby! What are you doing holding her?!]
This “Dan” kept commenting.
He didn’t just comment; he also sent Lester a direct message.
But the platform had restrictions. Users who weren’t mutual followers could only send one DM.
“Dan”
sent one angry DM and couldn’t send anymore.
Left to rage in the comments, he demanded Lester delete the post.
Lester didn’t delete the post.
Lester deleted his comments and blocked him.
At home, Daniel, scrolling on his phone, saw he’d been blocked. He slammed his hand on the table in frustration!
“That bastard Lester!” He cursed through gritted teeth.
Benjamin, sitting nearby, heard the sudden outburst and shot him an annoyed look.
“What’s going on?” Benjamin asked.
Daniel hesitated for a second, then tried to cover it. “Nothing, really. I just felt like cursing someone out. Hey, it’s getting late. I should go pick up Nina,” he said, making a quick exit.
After he left, Benjamin watched him go, a growing sense that something was off.
A moment later, Benjamin opened his phone and searched for Lester’s social media account.
They weren’t following each other, but they knew each other’s handles.
Benjamin found Lester’s account easily and saw the new post clearly.
Benjamin, the actual father, recognized his own child faster than Daniel ever could.
He knew exactly who Lester was holding in that picture.
Seeing the photo, Benjamin didn’t slam the table or curse out loud like Daniel, but the look on his face said it all.

Amelia was sitting next to Benjamin, using his tablet to catch up on reality shows.
Her agency was considering putting her on a variety show. Having never done that type of work before, Amelia was doing her homework-watching the format and how other people performed so she’d be prepared if she got the gig.
While watching, she keenly sensed Benjamin’s sudden shift in mood.
“Benjamin, what’s wrong?” Amelia paused the show, lifting her pretty face to look at him with
