rang.

It was Erik calling.

Daniel answered right away. On the other end, Erik asked directly, “You’re really going to help Nelson find his mom?”

Daniel’s voice was firm and certain.

“Nelson’s birthday wish yesterday was to have his mommy.

“I have to help him find her.

“That kid saved my Nina. I owe him this.”

Nelson’s wish might not have reached any “wish fairy,” but Benjamin, William, Chloe, and Daniel had all heard it clearly.

They were quietly working behind the scenes to make it come true.

Erik continued on the line, “Alright, got it. Trevor and Lester are friends. From what I know, Trevor did have a woman around him once.

“They were both abroad at the time. Lester definitely knows who she is. I’ll dig deeper for you.”

Daniel’s voice lit up with excitement. “Perfect.”

The two talked for quite a while before finally hanging up.

The curtains were drawn in the room, and the dim, cozy atmosphere was perfect for napping.

Daniel set his phone aside and prepared to lie down for quick rest.

But the moment he settled in, a small figure sat up behind him and spoke in a soft, eerie voice.

“Help Nelson find mommy?”

Daniel nearly jumped out of his skin. He shot upright.

“Nina! Why aren’t you asleep?!”

He was genuinely startled. He turned around, heart still facing.

There sat little Nina, eyes wide open and completely alet.

She hadn’t been sleeping at all-she’d been faking it!

“Un-coo Dan’el, I no sleep,” Nina confessed honestly. “I want go out.”

Chapter 346 Finding Nelson’s Mommy

Daniel had promised to take her out after her nap.

Now that she remembered the promise, she had zero interest in sleeping anymore.

After announcing she wasn’t asleep, she asked again, “Ur-coo Dan’el, where Nelson’s mommy?”

She was dead serious about finding Nelson’s mother.

Daniel tried to brush it off vaguely. “I don’t know yet. I’m looking for her.”

When Nina heard he was searching, she patted her little chest proudly.

“Nina find!”

“Okay, okay-Nina will help find her.” Daniel humored her casually.

Then he scooped her up into his arms. “Now tell me what do I have to do to get you to sleep?”

He’d been coaxing her since 12:30. It was almost 2:00 now, and Nina still refused to close her eyes.

He was completely out of ideas.

Nina giggled and snuggled against his chest.

When he realized he couldn’t win this battle alone, Daniel gritted his teeth and called Amelia.

Amelia answered quickly and gave him the perfect solution.

“Search for Randall Boggs and show her the video.

“Tell her if she doesn’t go to sleep right now, you’ll call Randall Boggs to come get her.”

Daniel hung up and immediately pulled up a video of Randall Boggs.

The character on screen looked absolutely terrifying.

The second Nina saw him, she shrank back in fear.

“No Randall!”

Her little face was full of genuine alarm. She twisted her body away, trying to hide.

“No Randall!” she said in a hurry.

Seeing how scared she was, Daniel seized the opportunity to use it as leverage.

“If you don’t sleep right now, I’m going to call Randall and invite him over to our house.

“Nina, do you want Randall Boggs to come visit?”

Nina’s eyelids turned red. Tears welled up in her eyes. “No!”

Daniel pressed gently, “Then lie down nicely, close your eyes, and I won’t call him.”

Under the threat of Randall, Nina finally behaved.
