Amelia frowned slightly. “Nina, you can’t do that. If you want to eat, you can tell me properly. But you cannot throw the bottle. That behavior is wrong.”

Amelia reasoned with her chubby little daughter. Daniel also picked up the bottle, wiped the nipple clean again, and stuffed it back into Nina’s hand.

The moment he let go, Nina sitting on the bed raised her hand again, puffing her cheeks, ready to throw the bottle once more..

This time, Amelia didn’t bother with reasoning.

She said coolly, “Nina, if you throw it again, you’ll get a spanking

Nina’s puffed cheeks deflated. She blinked her big eyes, carefully observing her mother’s expression.

After a few seconds of assessment, she decisively picked up the bottle and started gulping down the formula noisily.

As Daniel exposed Benjamin’s childhood antics, Amelia’s expression grew increasingly complex. So all of Nina’s bad habits… really came from her father!

While they chatted, Nina focused on finishing the entire bottle of milk. She held up the empty bottle for them to see.

Amelia, upon seeing it, kissed her chubby cheek and praised her. “Good, you drank it all clean.”

That night, on Amelia’s insistence, they returned to the Graham Residence to stay. If she remained in the hospital, Nina would fuss to stay too. And in the hospital, Nina wouldn’t sleep well. Nina was afraid of hospitals. After Daniel understood her concern, he didn’t try to persuade her to stay at the hospital

anymore.

They returned to the Graham Residence together.

When they arrived, William was still awake. He couldn’t sleep comfortably nowadays without seeing Nina before bed.

“Dad, why are you still waiting up? Nina fell asleep in the car.” Daniel carried the sleeping Nina. Nina had succumbed to sleep halfway through the car ride, her head lolling to the side.

William leaned in to look at the sleeping child. He carefully touched her chubby little hand and gave it a kiss, before turning his attention to Amelia.
