The hit pieces these paparazzi had posted about Amelia originally had extremely high traffic. Their sudden deletion immediately made Zoe’s fans sense that something was wrong.

Meanwhile, inside the hospital, Daniel had already found Amelia.

Upon hearing that holding her would cause her mother pain, Nina, who had been crying and reaching out, finally stopped straining forward.

Tears welling in her eyes, she looked at her mother and grabbed her hand with her own chubby little one.

“Mommy! Hurt?”

“I don’t hurt. I don’t hurt when you’re here.”

Amelia raised her left arm-the one that wasn’t injured-and gently wiped Nina’s tears away.

The atmosphere between them was filled with warmth.

Daniel placed Nina on a high stool next to the bed so she could continue holding her mother’s hand.

“Nina, I need to step out for a moment. You stay here and keep Mommy company.”

After saying this, Daniel prepared to leave.

Amelia looked at him and called out to stop him. “Daniel, are you going to see Zoe? I… I really didn’t push her. She fell by herself-”

“Amelia, I know.”

Daniel smiled wryly, “I’m going out to talk to the director, not to see her.

“Don’t worry. I truly have no feelings left for her.”

Amelia said, “…Alright.”
