Catherine took Serena’s hand. “To receive such a great honor, but not be able to announce it to the world, to not let everyone see how outstanding my Serena is…”

As he spoke, he let out a sigh. “It’s a pity your second and third brothers are still overseas and can’t make it back in time. I’ll have them each give you a ten-million-dollar reward later!”

Serena looked at the card in her hand and tried to give it back. “Grandpa, I have enough money. I haven’t even touched what you all gave me last time.”

“Then go spend it! When it’s gone, ask Grandpa for more!” Old Mr. Lancaster pushed the card back into her hand.
