A sharp slap echoed.
Then another, and another.
A rapid series of slaps followed.
That was Brian’s response to Marianne.
He had bent down, grabbed Logan by the collar, and once again raised his hand to deliver several more slaps.
The force was so great that both of Logan's cheeks swelled and turned bright red.
Marianne was stunned.
Her wailing sobs came to an abrupt halt.
“Who are you calling a little bitch? Hmm?” Brian held Logan up by his collar, raising a single eyebrow as he looked at Marianne with arrogant dominance.
Marianne's eyes widened. She looked at her son with heartache, then turned a terrified gaze to Brian.
She swallowed hard, her forehead breaking out in a cold sweat from the tension.
If it had been anyone else treating her son this way, she would have thrown a massive fit.
But this group…
Every single person standing before her was someone she absolutely could not afford to offend.
Any one of them could crush the Wynn family with the flick of a finger!
Her lips trembled, her face a mask of horror.
Patrick was the first to react. He immediately hurried forward with a sycophantic smile, grabbing Marianne's arm. He laughed at Brian, “She was calling herself a little bitch, calling my wife a little bitch… Yes, yes, my wife is a bitch!”
Marianne’s face twitched, and she moved her arm, about to protest.
But Patrick held her firmly in place, shooting her a fierce, warning glare.
Turning back, Patrick once again beamed obsequiously at the group of elites. “Mr. Foster, young masters, and ladies, it's all a misunderstanding! A misunderstanding!”
Patrick’s smile froze on his face, his eyes widening in shock.
Besides Logan and Hailey, both Marianne and Benedict stared in astonishment at the girl standing at the entrance of Obsidian Palace, hands in her pockets, her expression cool and aloof.
Serena?!
This group of top-tier heirs, these golden children that he, Patrick, could never hope to approach, were calling Serena… Serena?!
In the circle of these wealthy heirs…
Even if he wasn't part of their circle, he knew that these young elites were all incredibly arrogant, none of them willing to bow to another.
Let alone willingly call someone so informally.
Especially Brian, known throughout Vaelion City as its resident hell-raiser, famous in their circles for being outrageously arrogant, bowing to no one, and ready to take on anyone.
But now…
He had just heard this hell-raiser call Serena?!
