Astrid: "???"
Astrid: "Gracie, who told you to change your Facebook profile picture?"
Gracie: "Wasn't it you who asked me?"
Astrid: "I've been asleep the whole time. When did I ask you to change it?"
Gracie was bewildered. She scrolled back through her chat history with Astrid but found no such request.
Thinking hard, she suddenly slapped her thigh. "Oh my goodness!"
Rickon, who had been taking a nap, was startled awake by Gracie's exclamation. He lazily asked, "What's going on?"
Gracie turned around, crawled over to sit beside him, and complained, "Elio is such a jerk! He changed his WeChat profile picture to match Astrid's and even changed his name to hers. Then he messaged me, pretending to be Astrid, and told me to change her Facebook picture to this one!"
"How can someone be so shameless?"
Rickon rolled over and wrapped his arm around Gracie's waist. "I'll deal with him later."
"It looks like he's become a full-time prankster. If you deal with him, Astrid will deal with you. Let go, let go. I need to cook dinner." Gracie pried Rickon's hand away and muttered as she walked towards the kitchen.
Just as she finished washing her hands and was about to start cooking, the doorbell rang.
"Who is it? I'm coming!" she called out, jogging to open the door.
As soon as she opened it, Jon Brooke and Colton Fortner stood there, momentarily stunned at the sight of Gracie inside.
Jon looked Gracie up and down. Casual clothes!
Clearly, she's living here!
Oh boy, Rickon has a girlfriend!
He initially brought Colton over to mooch off lunch, but now that plan was out the window.
Jon: "I do."
"Support me!"
"......"
"Oh, by the way, isn't the first episode of Star's carving show airing tonight? We should check it out!"
Colton: "They recorded it just yesterday and it's airing today? That's efficient."
"Well, it’s just a carving competition. Not much post-production needed, maybe just a bit of editing," Jon said, turning on the TV.
When he found the program, it had already been on for some time. "Let's see what people are saying about Star's stunning looks."
At this point, the show hadn't reached the part where Astrid impressed everyone. Instead, it was focused on Astrid giving low scores to contestants.
Jon mumbled as he opened the live comments, only to find them filled with insults aimed at Astrid. They were harsh and relentless.
