Listening to Selena, Daisy found herself momentarily at a loss for words.
Though Selena claimed not to care, she still went to talk to Astrid about it, worried that Linda might stir up trouble.
Stretching lazily, Astrid said, "I've been finding the film set a bit too dull. If she wants to spice things up, she's more than welcome."
Selena: "..."
Worrying for nothing.
The next morning dawned bright and clear.
The crew was filming on location, and they had a rain scene scheduled for the day.
Astrid was up early, working with the stunt coordinator to choreograph the fight scene. He was full of praise for her, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine.
Nearby, Linda sat with her legs crossed, watching Astrid and the stunt coordinator. She laughed with a fellow actress, saying, "Look at them. What a match! Every woman has her man."
The other women chuckled awkwardly, unsure how to respond. Everyone knew Astrid was Elio’s girlfriend, and saying the wrong thing could easily lead to being blacklisted if word got back to Elio.
They weren't about to risk that.
Meanwhile, Astrid, covered in mud, wrapped up for the day.
Initially, many had their doubts about her, thinking she landed the role because of Elio. But over the past few days, her talent and dedication had won them over.
Despite her youth, she held her own against seasoned actors and shone brightly in the action scenes.
This changed many of the crew’s opinions. "Astrid, your fight scenes are incredible! Who taught you?"
"Stop calling me that," Astrid rolled her eyes. "Don’t you have work? Why are you here?"
Elio replied, "I heard someone was giving you a hard time, so I came to check on you."
He spoke loud enough for Linda to hear from a distance.
Linda hadn’t expected Elio to defend Astrid so openly. She admitted to stirring trouble the previous night, but for Elio to show up over something so trivial?
The actresses near Linda discreetly distanced themselves, eager to avoid getting involved.
Having witnessed Elio's formidable reputation, Linda didn’t dare remain seated. She stood, head down, not daring to meet his gaze, utterly humbled.
Astrid nudged Elio’s arm. "It's no big deal. Don't take away my fun on set."
