“I’ll be waiting for her,” I say, my own tear going down my face, I missed her so damn much.

“I’m sure she’ll be there soon,” he assures me, and I just nod.

I watched Wolf trying to cook, he was stumbling in the kitchen, he made a small mess making my favourite mashed potatoes and then Uncle Damian helped make him some kind of grilled chicken. Every time, I tried to get away from them, they both kept on calling my name, telling me to stay where they could see me, they even put me to work, and made me cut some vegetables, saying I should eat some fiber.

We had lunch together, it was more of an early dinner, it was already late, or maybe early, the day was too messed up to know what time it is for what? All three of us sat down and watched a movie together, we watched a stupid movie about a dog, and I broke down in tears when the stupid dog died in the end. Who the hell pick a movie where the dog dies for a girl whose mother has recently died.

I still haven’t approved about whatever is going to happen tomorrow, I might be sitting along with them right now, but I plan on giving them hell later, I won’t go down this easy, I’ll wait till they sleep and sneak out of the house like I did before. I’ll make it to the Beta and ask for her help, I’ll go over to the police and tell them I’m being forced, I’ll find a damn way to get the hell out of this.

“How do you feel about hot chocolate?” Uncle Damian asks me.

“Okay,” I say, agreeing to a nice big cup of hot chocolate. He went toward the kitchen and then came back with three big cups, mine had marshmallows on it, I took mine happily, and took big sip from it, enjoying it.

I started to get sleepy after that cup, my shoulders were unable to hold my head straight, so I leaned on Uncle Damian’s shoulder, and then a bit on Wolf’s shoulder, something felt off, why am I sleepy so badly, I know I keep falling asleep, and I spent most of my day asleep, but it’s never like this, and I’m never sleepy like I am now.

“What did you put in my drink?” I ask them, I knew they put something in my drink, my words were slurry, but I guess they could understand me still.

“I’m sorry Flower, I asked him to do so, you’re Victoria’s daughter, you won’t take this easily, you’re going to fight us, you’re going to try and run, this won’t make you blackout for long, you’ll sleep for the night, and then you’ll wake up in the hospital, they’re going to put you under and then they’re going to change you,” he says.

“Ow…H…O…” I was trying to ask how the hell am I going to be changed, I’m going to fight whatever he gave me, I’m not going to fall asleep, I’m going to stay awake and fight this until it passes and then I’m going to run away.

“How?” Uncle Damian says and I just mumble in answer, I couldn’t

talk at all.

“The changing? Didn’t you study this in class? Your teacher have said it.” Uncle Damian says,

“Don’t be like that, we can’t remember shit,” Wolf says and I wanted to nod, we do.

“After you get under, the idiot near you will bite you, and by the goddess power you’d wake up and be a wolf, just like us, you’ll feel better, you won’t be scared of wolves anymore, you’ll live for much longer, disease won’t be able to kill you that easily anymore,” he says and I gave him a glare, I meant from it why didn’t you change my mother, why did you let her die?
