Uniform.
Lotus POV
I’m not going. I’m not going, I’ll throw a tantrum if I have to, sit down on the ground and cry. I wasn’t above that and I did it, I sat on the floor and cried, well pretended to cry, I wasn’t really crying, but it didn’t work, the wolf laughed at me, picked me up calling me a naughty child in a mocking voice, and then walked me out of the door and threw me in the back of his car, laughing loudly.
“I want one just like her.” Wolf says to my mother.
“It might be a little too late for that,” Mom says, turning bloody red.
“The factory is closed,” I growl at him.
“We could always try, or just enjoy the journey of trying.” Wolf says, making her go into an even deeper red while I growled at them.
“I hate you both,” I growl at them.
“We’re only doing this ‘cause we love you, Lotus,” Mom says but I didn’t bother replying, right, ‘cause dragging me screaming and crying is such a normal thing for a step–family.
The drive to school wasn’t long, not nearly as far as I wanted it to be. he parked the car inside the school property and got out, are they coming in with me? How embarrassing is this going to be? They guided the way and I tried not to look around, not to feel too embarrassed over the fact that I’m here with my mother and her mate.

“They won’t let you in
Without a wolf to vouch for you.” Levent says, going toward the administrator’s office, he gave them his name, and his ID, before adding mine, I saw the papers being filled, my name was placed under step daughter.
“I got her papers all filled up, she can move next to the uniforms,” the lady says.
“I’ll take her,” Mom says, and we moved to the room next door where they had a tone of school uniforms placed on different shelves, marked by the sizes.
“Hello, we’re here for the uniform.” Mom tells the lady who’s in charge, she was an old lady with glasses falling down her nose, she looked me up and down and then back to my mother.
“Kindergarten are the building next door,” the lady says in a voice filled with disgust.
“I’m sixteen.” I say between gritted teeth, I know I’m short, but that’s taking bullying to a brand new level.
“Sixteen, she’s tiny, don’t you feed her?” the lady asks my mother with shock, she’s ready to call the CPS on us right now.
“She gets fed, she’s just small,” Mom says with a shrug, used to the comments over how short I am.
“I’m five–three woman,” I object.
“I’ll give her the smallest size we got available, but you’re going to have to take it in,” the lady informs mom, getting the uniform, everything was wrapped and brand new.
“Thanks,” I say without meaning it.
“You need to wear them,” the lady says.
“You said they’re going to be big on me, so why bother?” I ask her.
“School rules, you can’t join without a uniform,” the lady says and I finally smiled.
“Great, then I’ll just go home,” I say with a big smile.
“No, you’re staying,” Both mom and the lady say at the same time.
“I’m not staying, you can’t force me,” I inform both women.
“Well, if we’re being literal, I’m the one who can force you to stay, and I say you should give this school a chance and spend the day,” Levent says, joining us.
“How come?” I ask him with a raised brow
“You need a wolf referral, and I’m yours, which means you belong to my pack, and I want you to stay, please, Flower, just try for your mother,” he says, talking nicely to me for once.
“Fine…I’ll stay.” I say, I don’t enjoy playing the rebel or causing mom any troubles.
“You’ll have to put the clothes on, there’s a changing room there,” the old lady says pointing to the room, I took the clothes from her hand and headed there.
The uniform was a skirt, shirt, blazer, I had the small size, but it was still too big and too long, the skirt when it finally stuck on me, it fell down to my hips, and the shirt looked like I’m wearing my stepfather
shirt, and I don’t want to talk about the blazer.
“I can’t spend the day like this.” I yelled at them, nothing fit me.
“Can’t she just stay in her clothes, I’ll get them fixed by tomorrow.” Mom says, feeling sorry for me.
“I’m sorry but everyone needs to be in uniform,” the lady says, mom joined me in the changing room, she used her hair tie to tie the part of the skirt and pull it up to my waist, she folded the shirt a bit and stick it up in the back of my bra, folding up the sleeves, but she couldn’t do much for the blazer.
“You could rock the oversized look.” mom says.
“Better than before,” I mumble, I don’t look like I’m drowning as much.

“She’s ready,” Mom announced, leaving the changing room, Levent handed me my class schedule, and I was off to the wild, thrown to the wolves. I wished I could cry and tell mom to stay with me, but sadly, I had to be the bigger person here.
“Bye baby, have a nice day.” Mom says.
“Good luck, Flower,” Levent says, both leaving me behind, I took a breath, a deeper breath and then I started to move, searching for my first class.
The students were giant, I know I’m short but they’re taller than the average humans, and they kept looking at me, I could see them looking, and then whispering the eyes still on me, I made my best to try and ignore them, looking for my class, praying to god that I won’t cross road with any wolf.
“Since when are they allowing kids in highschool.”

“Is she lost?”
“Smells like a human, can we eat her?” I heard all those comments and tried my best not to cry.
My class was in thirteen C. I’m standing next to eleven, so two more classes, I moved forward but instead I found, Three D, with a groan I turned back, and went to look for the damn class thirteen.
“Do you need help, miss?” A guy asks me. He sounds and looks like a teacher, but isn’t dressed in uniform.
“I’m looking for Thirteen C.” I answer him.
“That’s in the floor bellow us, come on, you got English,” he says and I nod, that’s exactly it.
“Yeah, I am,” I answer him out loud next.
“You’re too young for your grade,” he says and I shook my head at him.
“I’m sixteen,” I groan.
“I’m sorry,” he says, meaning he’s sorry for both my height and what’s waiting for me in this school.
When we reached class thirteen C, he walked in and stood in the place of the teacher, pointing for me to go in and take a seat, most of the front seats were taken, so I had to walk to the back, and then went another row back so I’d avoid the rest of the scary looking students. I couldn’t see much from this back, and I doubted the teacher could see me either.
“Miss, short miss, come forward please. I need to be able to see you.”
the teacher, says, making me turn bloody red, he must have done it on purpose.
“It’s Miss Green.” I say with sourness to my voice.
“If you may miss,” the teacher says to another student who nods and give me her place in the front row.
