“I think I’m gonna go back up,” I say with a groan.

“Don’t be like this, come on, I can show you my latest drawings,” she offers me.

“I have a date with an ice cream tub upstairs, and I need to ruin my dinner and pretend I’m not hungry,” I say making her laugh.

“That’s my girl,” she calls after me, but Lignored her, mad at her give it a chance comment, I went back to our home, and dived into the ice cream tub.

“You’re gonna ruin your dinner,” wolf says coming in the kitchen out of nowhere.

“I had a bad day,” I answer him.

“Poor baby,” he says getting some sprinkles and whipping cream.

“Thanks,” I say with a smile.

“You had a bad day,” he says getting a spoon–and stealing some of my

ice cream.

“Hey, that’s mine,” I warn him.

“I’m not going to tell your mother, I get a cut,” he says making me go quiet, fine, as long as he won’t tell mom.

I felt much better after going through the sugar rush, I went back to my room to hide, only coming out when it was time for dinner, pretending not to be hungry at all.

“I made you mashed potatoes you like like mashed potatoes,” Uncle Damian says offering me one of my favourite food ever.

“I’m not hungry,” I announce, seeing the wolf having just the slightest smile he knew the truth.

“She’s having a bad day brother, don’t push her,” Wolf says, defending me, is he trying to get a birthday gift from me? I know mom is planning this big surprise party for him, but all I’m interested in is calling him old and saying he’s near his grave now.

“But she needs to eat as well,” Uncle says.

“Right, he needs me healthy for when he sacrifices me,” I say.

“River asked to meet you again, if you don’t mind,” he says, River being his beta, and the one trying to build some kind of friendship with me, but I keep seeing him as the enemy.

“I have math exam,” I answer him, I sucked at math.

“He can help you if you want, I could steal the exam answers for you as well,” he offers me making me giggle.

“I’ll take him on the tutoring offer,” I say, I am terrible at math.

“He’ll be glad to do it, but I’ll steal the answers just to be sure,” he says and la actually laughed, that was it, hey won, hey got me smiling and laughing.

“I win,” he says, he just ended my bad day.

“I need cuddles and maybe then I’d forgive you,” I say with a raised brow at him.

“Cuddles, hugs, kisses…” he says and mom stops him.

“Mate or not, don’t you dare, she’s still too young,” she warns him, making him go bloody red and for me to laugh some more, we can’t always control our bad days, but when they end, we should let them end.

“How are you going to steal the questions and answers uncle?” I ask Damian with a smile on my face, he promised to steal the exam questions for me and I’m waiting for him to do it, I need to pass this exam, and maybe I’ll share the questions with Rosie, she doesn’t like studying either.

“I have my own way, but your mother is right, you should try studying for it first,” he answers me in a serious voice.

“Is that an excuse to why you can’t steal the exam? I should study because you can’t get the answers,” I challenge him.

“I see what you’re doing, and you’re still going to study, answers or not.” he warns me.

“That’s not fair uncle, why should I get the answers if I’ll have to study as well,” I whined.

“Because you need to know the answer anyway,” Uncle says in a serious voice.

“And do you know all the answers to those problems?” I ask him.

“I knew enough to graduate and you should do the same,” he says.

“Know enough till I graduate, that’s a deal,” I say, giggling.
