Chapter 210 Wolf.
Noelle POV.
By the time I woke up, it must have been hours, I passed out, it’s not normal for wolves to pass out, but I just did, the exhaustion and the lack of training has gotten to me, I’m trying to think of how I lived without shifting or thinking about it, somehow it didn’t come to my mind that I need to shift. All I had in mind was for the days to pass, for the serial killers not to try and kill me, what about the freak show? Where they still in the facility, I don’t remember what happened to them, do they remember me? Or are they used to people disappearing.
Brooklyn was here by the time I woke up, along with a smaller version of her sitting next to her, looking at me like I’m some kind of alien.
“Mommy, she needs a doctor,” the little girl says, this must be Whitney.
“I know sweetie, this what happens when you don’t drink your milk,” Brooklyn says and I tried my best to roll my eyes at them, really she’s using me as an excuse to get her daughter to drink her milk.
“I’m fine.” I assure them all, but no one seemed to believe me.
“You pushed your body too hard too early, you need to wait for another month or so before you try,” Brooklyn says.
“I’ll be okay, I just need to shift and I’ll be fine.” I say, assuring them all that my wolf would be able to heal me.

“No,” everyone yelled, even Whitney yelled with them, and then started to giggle.
“Why not?” I say between gritted teeth, why can’t I shift, it’s my wolf side, it’s my other side, I need to be able to change into it so I’ll be able to heal quicker.
“Because you’re going to tear your body apart,” Brooklyn says.
“And you better obey mommy Brooklyn,” Ezra says with a chuckle.
“I want to try and shift, you can’t keep on holding me back,” I say getting up, but my head was so dizzy, I felt like I’m going to die.
“Hey, you okay,” Mateo ran to my side and helped me sit up straight.
“I’m fine, I need to shift to be able to heal,” I demand again.
“No, if you do that you’re gonna die,” Brooklyn says.
“Dying isn’t nice, Miss, my grandma died, mommy said it’s a bad thing, we can’t see her again,” Whitney says.
“And not being allowed to shift isn’t nice either,” I answer the little girl.
“I can’t shift yet, mommy says I’m too young to do so, but she taught me to feel my wolf, I can teach you,” she offers and I just nod, keeping up with the little girl.
“You close your eyes,” she says, closing hers, and then opening one to check if I did.
“Close your eyes miss,” she order me this time, in a firm voice that

matches her mother.
This time, I did close my eyes, her next order was to relax, which wasn’t that hard in my situation since I was coming in and out of conscious, she said to think of my wolf, to imagine her, and even to talk to her.
That’s what we teach the humans who get changed into wolves, and what we tell the kids so they’d be ready to shift, when the wolf is ready to come out, they won’t feel scared, it’s a wolf that they have with them through their whole life.
I knew the feeling, I expected the feeling, but it didn’t come, I felt empty on the inside, there was no wolf which was weird, maybe it’s because it’s been such a long time that I don’t remember how to call it.
“Now say hello to your wolf and ask her for help, when she’s ready she’ll come out,” Whitney says and I could hear everyone praising her.
