“Hey, Mia, I need you…” I say walking out along with a client, wanting to take another torture appointment, she’s the same one I had the first time, and turns out she’s a sucker for pain and I love torturing her, as does she, it’s all fun and game until the tears start falling, if she was a wolf I wouldn’t have stopped but she’s a human so I have to stop every time.

“Where’s Mia?” I ask out loud, but she’s not on her desk.

“She took a phone call,” the other girl Kristina says explaining to me where my….my friend is gone, for a moment, I was going to call her my mate, even between me and myself it feels off to call her mate, it feels like I’m selling Victoria’s memory and replacing her with someone else.

“I’ll make sure she calls you and give an appointment,” I tell the client and wait for Mia to come back, when ten whole minutes passed, I started searching for her, I went into the bathroom, I called her name out loud. I searched through the break rooms, and every other place in the gym that she could be in, but I couldn’t fucking find her, which was driving me insane.

So I started to call her, I used my phone to call her, but she didn’t answer her phone either, I groaned and felt my wolf get restless, I lost Victoria, and I can’t lose Mia, every nerve in my body screamed and yelled that she might be in danger.

“Kristina, I need your help, call Kate too ask, call anyone who’s around here, we need to find her,” I say in full panic mode now.

We watched her talk to Kristina, make funny face and talk, they sounded so relaxed, and then we saw her phone has rung, and then she picked it up.

That’s when her face dropped, that’s when she looked nervous and scared, and then she walked outside, we followed her with the cameras, we saw her outside, we saw that she placed her phone outside and then walked away.

I ran outside to get her phone, it was still there, hidden in the trash, I picked it up and checked her call history, it was Noelle. I hit call, and waited for Noelle to answer her sister phone, but she didn’t answer, so I called using my phone but she didn’t answer either.

The worry got worse, it’s not just one sister who’s in danger right now, it’s both sisters who are in danger and the worry is killing me.

I told the people of the gym that I need to get back home, the girls, my girls are in danger, I drove like a maniac until I got to the pack territory, and then ran inside heading straight to their home. I didn’t knock, I opened the door and yelled their names, but no one answered, my whole body started to shake, the wolf was coming out to protect what’s his, but I need to stay in my human form until I find out where they are first.
