Chapter 132
This is the story I’m willing to share so far, but there’s more, there’s some more that I don’t want to talk about, I wasn’t ready to do so yet. But all you have to know so far is that I lost my smile a couple years ago, I lost all happiness and all hope, the only reason I’m still alive and pushing forward was Noelle, I’m doing all of this for my little sister, I’m making sure she’ll get a better future than the one I had in the past. She lost our parents, she lost her pack, and I can’t let her lose anything anymore, I’m living just for her, fighting for her happiness only.
“Ready to leave?” Levent asks and I nod, I’ve been forcing myself to smile since the day we met, most days that smile was genuine, although I wished I could giggle or laugh, but a bigger smile was my highest achievement when it came to showing my happiness.
“Where are you taking us?” I ask him, noticing that he’s not taking the normal road back to the pack territory and home.
“Get a coffee, and talk, what I did was unacceptable, we need to talk it through,” he says and I just stay quiet, I didn’t answer, I didn’t comment, I stayed quiet while he drove, we both knew he’s the strongest wolf between the two of us, and if he tries to hurt me, I can’t fight him off, I’m under his mercy.
He took us to a coffee shop drive through, he asked what I wanted and I just shrugged, so he ordered one that had some sugar into it for the both of us, saying that we need something to make our day sweeter, it was a really bad attempt to life the mood that didn’t really work that well.
He then drove us toward an empty spot in the middle of the wood, he parked the car and turned to me, holding his cup of coffee in his hand,

drinking it slowly, I did the same, waiting for him to talk.
“I apologise for what I have said,” he says again.
“Okay,” I say, looking down at my cup.
“Listen, I only said that to get them off your back, but you need to know something,” he says.
“What is it?” I ask my heart beating like crazy, I was terrified of what he’s going to say next.
“Four years ago, I was mated,” he starts and all I could think of was how humans think that wolves don’t have to stay lawyer when they
don’t have a mate.
“She died, she went in for a surger, cancer, and then her heart gave up before I had the chance to do anything, she has a daughter, my step- daughter, she reminds me so much of Noelle, she was seventeen when she lost her mother,” he says telling me why he’s so miserable and broken the whole time, and that also made sense to why he likes Noelle so much.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” I say feeling bad for him, no one deserves to lose their mate.
“Thank you, but then I met Noelle and I saw you, you have the same miserable look as me, I’m not going to ask if you don’t wanna share, but I know what you’re going through because I’m going through the same thing, maybe different reasons,” he says explaining why he’s helping
me now.
“Thank you,” I say, nodding my head, having my fingers crossed that he won’t be asking me for anything else.
“You’re welcome, I’m not going to ask what’s going on and why you’re sad like me, but you should know I only did that to help you, and you
