“How long has it been love,” I say laying on my side, petting her head, playing with her hair.

“It’s been some time, how are you baby?” she asks me with a smile on her face.

“I’m miserable,” I say honestly, looking at her, she still had the same old smile, she looked happy every time although I wasn’t anymore.

“You’ll get over it,” she says messing with my hair.

“How would I ever?” I ask her.

“You have to wolf, I can’t keep on visiting, I just can’t,” she says and I stood up, I moved so quickly that I ruined the whole dream, I ruined the vision, I woke up, and was sitting all alone next to her grave.

“It’s been four years love,” I say out loud looking at where she’s buried.

“I’m very miserable without you, and if you stop visiting me, I’ll go crazy,” I say still petting the ground where she’s under, tears falling down my face, four years later and I’m still crying over her lost.

I started the walk back toward my apartment, the one that used to be

mine and hers, but she’s gone, and I’m still living there looking at her ghost, trying to smell her through her old clothes, trying to be near her. This has became my routine, every day, I’d walk here, I won’t be able to sleep and then I’d walk over her grave to see her, I’d spend hours here, until the sunrise, sometimes I’d fall asleep, others I’d be awake the whole time looking at the ground. shower, put on some clean clothes and finally I’ll drive to the academy where I spend my day in the office, I’d go out sometimes, but I prefer being among all the papers and away from any prying eyes.

I did my usual routine until it came to me getting dressed, today was special, today is the day flower would graduate from the academy, and I’m one of the people who have to stand on the stage and shake hands with all of the graduating students. I tried t get out of it, but since I’m one of the people in charge, I had to do it. Turns out if you do your paper job really well for four consecutive years, they’d promote you against your will into a higher position in the department.

I put on my full uniform, including cloves and hat and everything else, I hated all of those, I hate the fact that Viki could never see me like this, I wish she could, she would’ve called me sexy and other names that would make me laugh, but she’s gone.

I wiped off my tears, if I cry during the ceremony, I’d just say that I’m too damn proud of them all, although I only care about Flower, and maybe a tiny bit about the spice girl, she’s a great friend and she’ll make a wonderful beta, full of compassion and love to others.

I got in my car and drove there, I’d always drive to the academy not to make it there sweaty, I need to look put together as much as possible, it’s my workplace.

I walked in and took my place on the stand, I was on autopilot mode for the last four years and today marks the end of my hard work, I don’t have to stay here any longer, not after Flower graduates and she’ll move in with my brother, leaving me free.
