The happiest days of my life, that’s how I’d call my days with her, feeding the ducks, taking her shopping, teasing her daughter and getting teased back, they all made my days so much better, they all made me so happy. Even spending time in my office alone, and having to do paper work while thinking of her, dreaming of her soft ass when I get back home, I loved it all.

“Hey,” I say answering the phone, our daughter and my brother have finally confessed to each other being mates, they have each other now, along with the rest of the pack both mine and my brother to help take care of Lotus.

I’ve been thinking of talking her into taking a trip back to my

homeland, I can show her my home, and Lotus can tag along with Damian, we’d show the girls their future homes and I’ll make sure to pay someone to get the duck over for my mate.

“Work baby, what’s wrong?” I ask her, did something happen? A million thought start to go through my head.

found her sitting in bed, a cup of tea in hand, a blanket placed around her shoulders and she had tears going down her face.

“What’s wrong?” I ask her worriedly.

“I don’t know, my stomach, my stomach is killing me, I tried to stay warm and drink a hot tea, but it’s not working this time, I even took Tylenol, still in pain,” she says.

“This time? It used to happen before?” I ask her.

“Yeah, every now and then, I just thought it’s cause of bad food or a cold,” she says with a shrug.

“You didn’t check with a doctor?” I ask her worriedly.

“Levent, I worked two jobs and hardly had time to sleep, let alone be able to afford a doctor,” she answers me with a look that said, ‘Bitch, I used to be poor, don’t you remember,‘

“We’re going right now, I’m not leaving you in pain, you need to be checked,” I say, ignoring all of her refusal and objections.

“I’ll be okay, I just want you to be near,” she whines.

“I’ll be so near as will the doctor,” I say in a firm voice, it’s not like I’ll leave her alone.

“I don’t wanna go,” she whines, refusing to go to the hospital along with me, but I didn’t care, I pulled her off the bed, and carried her out toward the car. She whined the whole way to the car, I got her in and put on her seat belt, and then started the drive, but she kept on saying she’ll be okay while I could see and tell how much pain she’s in.

“I can see all the pain you’re feeling, I’m not letting this go,” I say, I refused to see my mate in so much pain, they could at least give her a painkiller until the doctor checks her out.
