Welcome to the year twenty–five–twenty–five, it sounds cool when you say it using letters, it’s just 2525, nothing special, we don’t have flying cars or teleportation yet, we don’t colonies in mars, but if you ask me we should be working on getting to mars soon, anything to get away from them!

Some years ago, five hundred to be exact, the wolves were created, some say they are born by a miracle, by mutation caused by the last nuclear war, by a mad scientist in his lab, but no one really knows the truth.

The story that’s told on the TV is that the wolves are created by the goddess of the moon and night Celina, that if you’re stupid enough to believe it and willing to head to the nearest moon temple to pray and hope she’d give you whatever you’re hoping for.

I’m more inclined to believe the conspiracy theory that says they are the result of the nuclear war, a mutation of wolf and human, a thing that shouldn’t exist. It’s not normal nor natural for a creature to be both human and wolf, to be able to shift between both forms.

Five hundred years ago, it all started,

it all started, let me tell you the story, we’re taught it in school, there’s a song about it, it’s a thing everyone knows but still like to listen to it, they even have a Celina day, similar to our Christmas celebration, they day they were born.

in the forest, it was one of the toughest winters that had passed over him, he’s used to the cold weather, and his dark fur was thick and would keep him safe from the cold, but not this year, the cold was too much for him to handle,

Lucien was shivering as he ran through the forest trying to find shelter and food, shelter from the storm and food to keep him going, mod animals were either dead or hiding none of them were out in this bad of weather, no rabbit to be seen, no deer, duck, birds, owls. Lucien is desperate, and desperate times lead to crazy decisions, he’s going to head to the human lands to steal food.

Lucien wasn’t proud of it, wolves are proud animals, they don’t search the trash cans, they don’t steal the livestock, they hunt their food, they catch them and then kill them, and they don’t take shortcuts.

On a side note from his story, I wanna add the fact that the nuclear war has killed a big chunk of wild animals, ruined half of the land and left a minimal amount of food and seeds for the humans. it wasn’t just Lucien who was desperate; everyone was. Maybe that’s why we ended up the way we are right now, but let me finish up Lucien’s story, and then I’ll continue ours. I’ll tell you all about the humans, my kind, my people.

Lucien got into some human lands, the few animals that were left were heavily guarded, and no chance was to be taken with them, if humanity lost those last animals, it’d lose all animals and there would be no return from that point. The humans took all precautions, including shooting any wolf on site, that’s how Lucien lost his pack, they wandered too close to the humans and even without being provoked, the humans shot first, and asked questions later.

Lucien wanted food, but in the back of his mind he was thinking of

Once on the human lands, he searched for the livestock they had, he could smell cows, and birds, a mix of duck and chickens. Lucien decided that the birds were going to be the easier target, he hoped for rabbits, but these humans didn’t keep any. Thieves can’t be picky, Lucien was once a great alpha, he led a pack of thirty wolves, kept them alive, and led them through the hard times until the humans came after his family.

When humans tried to shoot him when they tried to kill him, he attacked them, and he killed them all, the story is dark, Lucien kills five humans, the story says they were evil humans, that they killed thirty wolves to begin with, that they were the ones who started this small war and Lucien ended it.

That night, changed the whole world, it’s said that Celina had enough of her babies being hurt and attacked, being killed, she wanted to save them, save the humans…now that’s the official story, Celina came down to earth, she turned Lucien into a human so he could take over and save the world. (Right because he’s Jesus Christ, I don’t believe this story, but feel free to think whatever you want.)

The story I believe is the feeling Lucien felt when he attacked the humans was such a human feeling, that he felt anger and frustration, he was seeking revenge and wasn’t seeking food, the story is too specific for him wanting rabbits? For real?

The years of radiation, all the deaths, and the wolves that survived aren’t the same ones from before, they are different, they had some

human DNA in them, some people have the theory that after the war people would randomly combust due to the radiation, and it’s what mixed the two DNA, wolf and human.

Or maybe some sick in the head humans have done things that shouldn’t be done to wolves and they were created, I don’t get the science behind it, maybe it’s just science, after the war and during the war there was no one to monitor what was going on, maybe that’s how they were created.

After Lucien first shifts into human form, he ravishes through the kitchen of the humans he killed, he ate everything they owned, and then he ran back into the woods the only home, he knows, the story gets blurry after that, some people say he shifted back to wolf right away, others says that he took a long time, he got frustrated and missed being a wolf, so he got down on his knees and prayed for the goddess, she came down to earth and taught him how to shift back.

In my opinion, it’s all bullshit, and if you’re very stupid if you believe any of it, then suit yourself, Lucien was hunted down, but instead of finding a wolf in the woods, they found a human who claimed to have the ability to shift into a wolf, they took him into custody, and finally Lucien shifts back and forth between both bodies, showing the reality of what he is, a human and a wolf at the same time.

Lucien was locked up until the end of his days, trialed for murder, and studied, but others like him came out, they told everyone that they exist for real, and in the short time of a year, the wolves have came out of the bag, they didn’t bother hiding anymore, they started to show their real self. The wolves had enough of being hunted and seeing the humans dying due to their own stupidity, when they came out, it was very diplomatic, unlike Lucien, who came out to kill people, instead, they told everyone they were stronger than most humans, they were in

high places in the government, they had relation with other countries and they had solutions.

We should be grateful for their help, if it wasn’t for the wolves, humanity would have vanished, and we would have run out of everything, instead, they had ways to fix everything, but in return, they wanted to be in charge, and they got what they wanted.

I wish the story ended there, then I wouldn’t be so angry at the wolves, I wouldn’t give a fuck about them, but that wasn’t all for the wolves, being in charge wasn’t enough for those monsters, they wanted more, they ruined families in the name of love, in the name of searching for their other halves.

The wolves claim they have another half, a soulmate, that’s out there waiting for them, the only way to find the said mate is to be around humans, touch them, and interact with them, once the said human is found and picked, they have some kind of system that’s not public. The said human would be taken away, she or he would join the wolf pack, his or her life, they’d become their owner, their partner, and their whole life.

Once they went public they didn’t care if their mate already had a husband or wife, had a family and kids, they were forced to leave everything behind and join the wolf no questions asked, it’s all to keep the peace, to keep the new–found luxury humans experienced under their ruling.

Some people find it very romantic, girls dream of being a wolf mate, of joining their pack and starting a new life, since I was young, back when I used to watch Disney princesses and dream of becoming one, mom kept telling me about how romantic it would be to loved by a wolf, an honor to be one of their mates, they are respected, and some of
