Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 268

Having sensed the change in Shannon's attitude toward him, Scott didn't hesitate to take advantage of that opportunity.

"Shannon, you have over a million fans on Twitter, and yet you've only retweeted a tweet posted by the production crew so far. You can't let your account rot away just like that!"

"Then what should I do?" Shannon asked.

"You need to upload photos of yourself! If you don't show that you care about your fans every now and then, they'll end up leaving you!"

Scott seemed pretty experienced in managing social media accounts. When he realized that Shannon had no idea what to do, he felt a mix of frustration and disappointment.

How could someone as stiff as her think of flourishing in the entertainment industry?

"How about this? Try looking for some photos in your phone's album. After that, you can add a caption before posting it on Twitter. Think of it as a way to greet your fans officially."

Shannon found it quite troublesome, but at the same time, she thought that Scott made sense. So, she tapped on the photo album.

Scott scooted over to look at the album. What he saw next left him dumbstruck.

There were mostly photos of ancient wordings and talismans in her photo album. A few artistic photos could be seen occasionally, but Scott could tell that Shannon had taken those photos on a whim.

Scott could feel a throbbing headache starting to build up. Did Shannon not partake in any regular hobbies that any other young people had?

Where were her selfies? What about heavily edited artistic photos? How could her photo album be this boring?

But Shannon didn't seem to have realized the problem. If anything, she was still picking out the best photo seriously.

Scott was really worried that Shannon might upload one of the ancient writing photos to Twitter, so he quickly stepped in. "Shannon, why don't I take a photo for you right now?"

He'd definitely add filters and compositions to that photo.

Shannon didn't like having her photo taken. Well, all mystic art practitioners didn't like getting their photos taken at all.

In a way, photos were a form of medium. If someone with ulterior motives got their hands on the mystic art practitioners' photos, information on their physiognomy might be leaked. Either that or the photos would be used for malicious rituals and practices.

Seeing this, Thomas suggested, "Why not make our garden the background? The natural lighting is quite beautiful at this time of the day. I'll have someone place some fruits and flowers on the table. Ms. Shannon can sit on a garden chair and read a book. It'll be an artistic photo at first glance."

Scott didn't hesitate to shake his head. "That won't do. Shannon isn't the elegant and artsy type. Everyone will know that she's just posing for the photo."

Shannon slowly turned around to look at Scott. Was she not meant to be elegant and artsy?

The moment Scott made eye contact with Shannon, he realized that he had just blurted his actual thoughts. Embarrassed, he avoided eye contact with her while trying to come up with a new background with Thomas.

Many places in the villa were perfect for photo-taking. There were two walls filled with books to the brim on the second floor. There was also Scott's room which was filled with figurines as well as Cecily's room of plushies. Of course, there was also the sunroom located in the garden.

Since there were too many choices, it made choosing very difficult for Scott.

Meanwhile, Shannon didn't understand what was going on at all. She was supposed to upload a photo to Twitter, right? Why did it become an official photoshoot?

She was starting to think that she should just snap a random selfie in her own room when she heard soft footsteps coming down the stairs.
