Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 267

Linda also gazed at Adam gratefully.

Naturally, Shannon could tell that Adam was worried about her. She didn't want to worry him.

So, she looked downward and said, "I just finished creating the restriction spell. Its effect will only last for three days at most."

Shannon paused for a moment. For once, she played the role of an obedient daughter. She made a promise to Adam.

"Don't worry. I won't use restriction spells on my family ever again."

If Hank still repeated the same mistake, Shannon could always deal with him by using other methods. That was what she intended to do.

For some reason, Hank felt a chill traveling down his spine. When he met Shannon's eyes, he felt his fear starting to take root.

For the first time ever, he avoided her gaze.

With Caleb serving as a living example of what not to do, Hank learned to keep his thoughts to himself even if Shannon didn't use the restriction spell on him.

When Adam heard about the restriction lasting for only three days, he no longer urged Shannon to remove it.

Even George commented smilingly, "Three days is a good timeframe. Hank can use the time to change his attitude for good."

Hank didn't know what to say.

Why was George being openly biased toward Shannon? He was still treating everyone equally some time ago!

It was then Hank suddenly remembered that the change in George's attitude toward Shannon occurred right after the Grays were arrested by the police for stealing infants. He knew that George and Adam were the ones exposing the Grays.

But George's sudden shift in attitude was quite suspicious. Hank couldn't help but wonder if something else had happened.

The impromptu family meeting that took place during breakfast time finally ended. Now that Hank's and Caleb's issues were dealt with, everyone started doing their own thing.

Shannon felt her heart soften slightly. "Twitter?"

She didn't expect Scott to bring that topic up. Truthfully speaking, she had completely forgotten about the fact that she had a Twitter account.

Back in the Gray residence, Shannon was too absorbed in learning mystic arts behind the Grays' backs. This resulted in her not using social media at all, unlike her peers. If it wasn't for "Sixth Sense" promoting the show, she wouldn't have gotten herself a Twitter account.

Although Shannon didn't really pay attention to Twitter, Scott's request was still a simple one, so she decided to fulfill it. She pulled out her phone while asking, "Which account is yours?"

Upon hearing her answer, Scott approached her excitedly. He quickly pointed out his Twitter account.

After that, Shannon followed Scott on Twitter. Seeing this, Scott wore a smug expression right away.

Shannon thought this was the end of their interactions. She completely forgot that there were certain people who were shameless enough to keep pestering her after getting what they wanted.

Scott was one of them. If people were to relent and let him do whatever he wanted, he'd definitely take full advantage of the opportunity.
