The reason why everyone could make out that Doris was cursing at Shannon and Vincent was purely because of the agitation and dissatisfaction written all over her face.
But Shannon and Vincent hailed from Seastone City and Jamborough, respectively. They didn't know what Doris was screeching about the whole time.
They weren't the only ones confused. Even the viewers were equally puzzled.
"Can anyone translate what that old lady's screaming about?"
"Is there anyone who's good at accents and languages? Please translate what that old lady is cursing about."
"It seems she's shouting in an old dialect hailing from Halton. I'm a local in Halton, yet I can't really make out what she's talking about."
"Stop urging me already! I'm trying to type everything out!"
"Here's the translation. What the hell are you youngsters doing with that show of yours? Who gave you permission to film your damn show in that damn mansion? How dare you trespass into private property just to do that!"
Meanwhile, Vincent was rooted to the spot because of Doris' sudden outburst. For once, he looked pretty flustered and awkward.
But Shannon retained her composure even after making eye contact with Doris' murky eyes. She even took a step forward.
"Madam, do you know the previous owner of the mansion?"
Doris shot Shannon a glare. Then, she said something to the pair immediately. Even though they still couldn't really understand what she was talking about, they could still make out that she wanted them to leave.
After that, Doris spun on her heel and returned to the villa in wobbly steps as though she didn't want to face the cameras anymore.
Since Doris refused to speak with Vincent and Shannon, it was impossible for them to knock on her door and greet her at this point.
Then again, the fact that they were affected by Doris' presence still stood. It must be Vincent's first time meeting an old lady who was extremely rude to him, so he seemed to be in low spirits on the way back to the mansion.
At dinnertime, Eddie could tell that something was wrong with Vincent.
"Vincent, Shannon, what happened to you guys when you were out just now?"
Eddie laughed as well. "Wow, Shannon! It seems that you have a penchant for humor as well!"
Even Vincent couldn't help but chuckle in amusement.
Of course, the viewers were all laughing in the comment section.
"She's right! That old lady must be over 80 years old if she doesn't like Vinny at all!"
"No one can deny Vinny's charms and looks unless they're over 80 years old!"
Shannon took a sip out of her glass as she watched everyone guffawing loudly in the dining room. She used the opportunity to mask the hint of confusion in her eyes.
She didn't know what to say. Based on Doris' face and features, it was true that she was definitely over 80 years old.
Shannon wasn't sure why everyone found it funny. She thought she was able to hide her confusion well. Little did she know the cameras had captured her confusion clearly.
