Adam had always been a figure who only appeared in financial magazines or celebrity and tycoon rankings. He always dressed meticulously, but just one word from Shannon was enough for him to put on a more youthful outfit.
He didn't feel awkward even though people were staring at him.
Instead, he looked at his children beside him. He suddenly recalled when Shannon was born years ago. He had once imagined bringing his wife and children out for trips.
Now, only three-quarters of his vision was fulfilled.
He had no idea when he would be reunited with the remaining quarter.
At the thought of his wife, Adam had a dark and lonely look in his eyes. However, his face remained expressionless.
That afternoon, the three went on a shopping spree. They then toured the toys section of the mall as if they were going to make up for Shannon's loss of childhood.
Shannon was speechless.
She felt a little tired.
It was even more tiring than drawing on 20 talismans in one go.
Still, she felt a faint sense of joy and fondness.
The three had dinner and admired the night view. When they were about to go home, Adam suddenly paused in his steps as they passed by a photo studio.
"I don't think we've taken any photos together ever since Shannon came home."
Adam's voice sounded a little small. It sounded a little more emotional compared to his usual calm tone.
When Hector heard that, he smiled as he looked at Shannon. The two exchanged glances. Of course, they didn't decline.
After their outing today, Shannon felt like she just had a different experience with being a member of the Jensen family.
The photoshoot required a booking in advance, but this was not a problem for Hector.
Hector hired a photographer from a private studio. Thus, the three took photos together.
When the photos were being taken, Shannon could somewhat see that the thin string connecting her to the Jensens was turning solid.
He had also written a caption.
"Dad insisted on dragging me along to go shopping with my sister."
Shannon didn't post anything, but she kindly liked the two posts in turn.
Scott was emotional as soon as he saw the posts. He leaped off the couch, shouting, "Dad! I can't believe my sis didn't bring me along on her shopping trip!"
His sudden howl startled his father, who had just arrived home after working overtime. His father asked him, "Which sis are you talking about?"
Scott was still furious as he said, "Who else? My older cousin, Shannon!"
As he spoke, he took screenshots and sent them all to the family group.
Other than the few younger members of the Jensen family, the others rarely went on Twitter, so of course, they wouldn't constantly pay attention to the posts on Twitter.
When the other members of the Jensen family tapped on Scott's screenshots, they were all speechless for a moment.
