Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1652

Chapter 1652 A Claim [Bonus]

[Bonus thanks to Bryson_Clark... Alright, the grace period is over. Four is just excessive. Have some propriety, some grace, some fucking decorum. But I guess I can't expect class from a man with two first names, your ancestors were already asleep at the wheel] Sylas' vision swam, and when it solidified once again, he found himself standing in the same location he had been more than a week ago.

It was like he hadn't teleported across the vastness of the universe at all.

Well, it was like that for him. To those people around him, it was like they were hacking up their meals from the last month. The nausea hit them even more violently than the first time because not only were they not prepped, it was also far too jerky and abrupt.

This wasn't a normal teleportation. It was like they had been ripped back to a completely separate reality.

It was one of the worst things they had ever experienced.

Sylas looked up into the air again, only to find a figure standing high above.

Technically, they weren't just standing in the skies. In fact, they were hovering above the skies of the Scorpion Lineage Moon.

Gralith.

To his credit, the 713th Scorpion Warlord was quick on his feet. He had no idea what happened during the gathering, but what he did know was that whatever Sylas and Ekear had done to release him couldn't have been good.

Knowing their circumstances were probably not the best, he forcefully ended things.

If he was just the 713th Scorpion Warlord of the 073 Sanctum, he wouldn't be able to do this. But he had been fusing with his Spirit Beasts, allowing him to connect with the 001 Sanctum and 007 Sanctum all at once.

Using that advantage, he forced a disruption in all three connections, resulting in the failsafes the main Sanctum had put into place reversing.

These failsafes were actually in place in case the system decided to kick up a fuss about them interfering in weaker Horizons, but Gralith had used it to his advantage.

Ultimately, it wasn't entirely necessary to do things so hastily, but it was clear Sylas had already expected it to happen, while it was always better to be safe than sorry.

What Gralith didn't expect after this was what happened next.

A surge of Karma began to rise up out of the golden staircase, the skies rumbling.

BOOM.

A pulse of golden light filled the air, spreading out so far and wide it covered the entire galaxy in the blink of an eye.

The Spirit Beasts forming the cores of the Lineages all swam out from the Moons they resided in, roaring into the skies in a unified symphony.

Sylas knew what was happening immediately. It was the other benefit of what he had done.

They were no longer the 073 Sanctum.

They were the 001 Sanctum.

And with that came a surge of Karma and Luck-the sort of Karma and Luck one would only find in Horizons orders of magnitude more powerful than what one could find anywhere near here.

Pretty soon, their Sanctum would be birthing children with exaggerated strengths and attracting geniuses they likely didn't deserve.

But it also meant something else.
