Sylas met their gazes without the slightest fluctuation, his eyes as icy cold as they could be without flashing white silvery blues. He reached out a palm, flipping it upward.
At that moment, there was a raging change, flames pulsing to life.
Pa. Pa. Pa.
Sylas' Scorned Wraps extended, piercing through the ground.
The dome shuddered, twisting and dancing until—
Shu.
Sylas suddenly appeared out of it. As though a god of war, flames incinerated his dress shirt through, snaking lines of bandaged wraps dancing through the skies.
BANG.
Kraziel and Veyric's expressions changed. Tapping a foot, they accelerated backward, barely dodging out of the impact of Sylas' feet.
Sylas didn't look to chase after them first, his gaze turning to Alex and Jala.
"You two. Go inside."
Sylas didn't wait for their reply, a flash of spatial Runes dancing around them and forcefully countering their Wills. In an instant, they were flashed into the dome.
"Shit." Alex cursed as an Aether Knight took shape in front of him.
Jala's face turned pale as a ghost as an Aether Knight appeared for him as well.
They were no match for these projections. Sylas was just sending them off to their deaths.
However, when Jala looked back to see if Sylas planned to help, the latter's attention was entirely focused on something else.
Chi.
The dome of red shattered to pieces.
Jala hurriedly turned back toward the Aether Knight, realizing at that moment that Sylas had helped. Whatever he had done just now countered the system before it could fully finish reforming the Aether Knight. As such, it was only about 20% as powerful as it should be. But even that was far too powerful for the two of them to deal with.
Unfortunately for them, Sylas had no intention of helping them any further.
If they couldn't do at least this much, it was better they died here. He had no remorse. These two were too large a part of the reason Earth was in so much trouble right now.
As for the two Veil Humans… they would pay for their actions right here and now.
Sylas' fists clenched, the hems of his dress pants turning to flames and revealing the wraps that tightly wound his ankles and feet.
His gaze finally landed back on Kraziel and Veyric, who were both looking at him with a hint of wariness mixed with a hint of subterfuge. They didn't know what was going on, but they had a feeling that it was a big deal. Or else Sylas would have done this from the very start.
As for the threat on their lives, they thought it was nothing more than a joke. Not to mention their own confidence in their strength—even if they were ants before Sylas, what would happen once their elder took action?
However, the suppression of Sylas' Will was slowly pressing them into a corner.
There was a sudden flash and a beauty with the silvery rainbow tail of a snake appeared, her wings unfurling.
"Trap one of them," Sylas said coldly.
"Yes, master."
A pair of golden slit eyes appeared behind Sylas as he felt as though a sledgehammer had just been taken to his head. However, he hardly reacted at all as Nosphaleen's stats were forcefully raised by +5000%.
