Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2545

The police ignored his protests entirely, ordering their men to drag him out without another word. Harry fought back wildly, yelling and kicking up a storm, but it took a hard boot to the ribs to finally shut him up.

Everyone else looked on in stunned silence, hardly daring to breathe.

Once the officers had hauled Harry away, Vivian slipped off to a quiet corner and called Eugene. “Mr. Winters, it’s done!”

“I want to see the final outcome,” Eugene replied coolly.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Winters. I made sure the dose was enough—he’ll be stuck in there for years,” Vivian assured him. “I’m about to leave Maplewood, too—just to avoid suspicion. I’ve done so much for you, Mr. Winters; don’t forget about me.”

Every time she’d met Harry, it was at a hotel. He never realized she had a habit, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t name her to save himself. She needed to get out of Maplewood as soon as possible.

Eugene’s voice turned icy. “You’d better pray Harry doesn’t forget about you, either.”

With that, Eugene hung up.

Not long after, Eugene called Sylvia to let her know Harry was in custody and wasn’t getting out anytime soon.

Sylvia finally breathed easy. “You’re a lifesaver. Tell me—how should I thank you?”

Eugene’s voice dropped a shade deeper. “Anything at all?”

She hesitated, then laughed. “Dinner’s on me?”

He chuckled—a low, warm sound that made Sylvia’s heart skip a beat.

“Stop laughing!” she grumbled, flustered.

He let his laughter fade, then said gently, “Tomorrow you can share the good news with Amy. She can finally go home.”

“Will do. Thanks again.”

“Get some rest.”
