Eleven Years All to the Wrong Man novel Chapter 193

Just as Emma had suspected, Evan had indeed followed her.

"You followed me?"

She looked at him coldly, her face showing not a hint of guilt or panic at being caught for having met Nathan that afternoon.

Evan stared at the woman before him. She was far too calm, so calm it was as if she were the one in the right.

And, in fact, she was.

"Don't you think you owe me an explanation?"

The smile finally vanished from Evan's face. He looked at her, the emotions he'd been suppressing for so long slowly bubbling to the surface.

"An explanation?"

Emma reacted as if she'd just heard a hilarious joke. Mimicking his earlier demeanor, she chuckled twice before calmly retorting, "What do I need to explain to you? And what could I possibly have to explain?"

How ridiculous. She never thought she'd see the day Evan acted like a wronged wife confronting the other woman.

The atmosphere in the room turned frigid. Seeing that Evan had no intention of responding, Emma coolly averted her gaze and picked up her iPad again, intending to resume her search for a new show.

But she had barely turned on the tablet when, in the next second—

"What are you doing?"

Emma sat up straight, staring at the culprit who had just snatched the tablet from her hands.

Evan powered off the device and tossed it onto a nearby beanbag chair.

He stood by the bed, his expression once again cold and aloof. Looking down at Emma from his superior height, he said icily, "Cut ties with him, and I'll forgive you."

He would forgive her?
