Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 948

Lawrence handed the document to Maeve.

"My apologies, Miss Vance, for the shock you've endured this time."

"Just sign your name here, and you will no longer have any ties to this case."

Nancy was the first to jump out and object.

"Mr. Steele, whose side are you on anyway?"

Lawrence gave Nancy a slight shake of his head, a clear warning not to blow this out of proportion.

But there was no way Nancy was going to let her prey slip away so easily.

"She can't leave until things are made clear."

Even if she had to leave, she wasn't walking out before the little bastard in her stomach was dealt with.

Lawrence's attitude left no room for debate.

"I am here under direct orders from Mr. Grover to pick her up. Miss Vance was framed."

"The actual suspect has already turned themselves in. This entire incident has absolutely nothing to do with Miss Vance."

While Nancy was still reeling from the shock of the suspect turning themselves in, Maeve had already signed her name on the paperwork.

Outside the detention center, Andres, along with Murray and a team of bodyguards, had been waiting for quite some time.

Seeing Maeve emerge completely unscathed, Andres quickly hurried over.

"Maeve, did they give you a hard time in there?"

Maeve let out a small yawn. "I wasn't exactly mistreated, but I am a bit sleepy."

She hadn't slept all night; how could she not be tired?

Andres draped the coat he had prepared over her shoulders.

"I'm taking you home."

"Please hold on a moment, Mr. White."

Having finished the handover, Lawrence walked toward them with a professional smile plastered on his face.

"On behalf of Mr. Grover, I sincerely apologize to you and Miss Vance for this misunderstanding."

"Regarding the compensation, we can sit down and discuss it at length whenever you're free. I guarantee we will reach an amount that satisfies Miss Vance."

"I only hope that Mr. White will pass a message to Mr. Hugh: there are only permanent interests, no permanent enemies."

Andres sneered coldly.
