Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 763

Tears welled up in Nancy's eyes, fueled by pure indignation.

"She hurt me, can't you see that?"

"Where are you hurt?" Andres asked flatly.

Nancy held her wrist up right in front of him.

Andres gave it an emotionless glance.

"Where's the injury?"

Nancy frantically searched the aching spot for any sign of a mark.

But despite the searing pain, there wasn't a single blemish on her skin.

Desperate, she switched tactics, trying to play the delicate victim.

"Just because there's no mark doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Andres, you can't just stand there and let your people bully me like this."

Men always folded when a woman cried.

She refused to believe Andres had a heart made of ice.

Unfortunately for her, she vastly overestimated his compassion.

After weathering countless storms since childhood, a woman's tears were utterly worthless to him.

If Maeve had shed a single tear, he would have pulled her into his arms, comforting and protecting her.

But watching Nancy cry stirred absolutely nothing within him.

"Pfft!"

A sudden laugh broke the tension. Maeve found the whole spectacle hilarious.

"What's so funny, Maeve?" Andres asked.

Maeve didn't mind dragging his reputation through the mud a little.

"I'm just laughing at how terrible your taste used to be. It seems you'd settle for absolutely anything back then."

Andres, catching a stray bullet, was left speechless.

Nancy, publicly humiliated, turned pale.

Maeve gave the stunned Murray and Hans a look.

"I'm starving. Let's go eat."

"Yes, ma'am!" Murray chirped, immediately trailing after Maeve like a happy little puppy.

Biting back a smile, Hans followed suit.

Andres quickly caught up to Maeve, stubbornly lacing his fingers through hers.
