Ian's side of the story

He had no clue that Maja had already screenshotted their chat.

She hadn't been responding to him lately, and he thought she was mad about what happened that night.

Half an hour later, Jeff walked in with some documents, looking nervous and hesitant to speak.

Ian frowned. "Any problem with the upcoming meeting?"

"No."

"Any changes in the project?"

Jeff shook his head.

Ian's face instantly turned cold.

"Then what is it?"

Jeff stuttered, "Boss, do you follow social media?"

Ian never did.

"Ms. Penny hopes you'd stop bothering her; she mentioned that she's married."

Ian held a pen in his hand and was silent upon hearing this.

Jeff continued.

"She probably won't divorce; she even screenshotted all the messages you sent her; now everyone knows."

Ian frowned and took out his cell phone.

At this moment, Ryan called.

"Cousin, what happened?"

He really wanted to ask, Why was Ian chasing after Penny?

But he didn't dare, so he hinted.

"Penny seems very loyal to her husband; she said she won't divorce."

Ian hung up the phone right away, and then Tyler called.
