"Glenn's out cold. This is obviously a trap set by Maja, my poor son. This is Glenn's phone. Maja sent him these text messages, then Glenn went out to meet her. His car was always behind hers, and the driving routes of the two cars were very strange."

Cristina cried and quietly observed Neil.

She sneered inwardly because Neil didn't curse or refuse to see her.

Good, God was helping her!

"I only have one son. What am I supposed to do? I’d rather just die!"

She was about to run into the wall. Neil hurried to stop her but pulled his wound, almost fainting from the pain.

Luckily the nurse stopped Cristina.

Cristina kept crying, and her crying filled the ward.

Neil got so anxious that he coughed as if he was about to cough up blood.

Maja quickly patted him on the back and heard his hoarse question.

"Is Glenn really unconscious?"

"Yes."

The next second, his slap fell on Maja's face.

Neil just woke up. His body was weak, and the slap didn't hurt at all.

But for Maja, the slap felt like a ton.

"Maja, did you really do this to him?"

"You have no clue about Glenn trying to rape me at the Pennyfeather family's company. Have you ever wondered why his car was chasing me? Because he couldn't wait to ruin me. What was wrong with me trying to escape in my car? If only he'd given up chasing me, this wouldn't have happened!"

Hearing this, Cristina screamed and rushed at her.

"Bitch! You're still making excuses. You and your mom are both bitches!"

Neil and Maja's faces turned very ugly as soon as her words fell.

Cristina was scared and realized she had touched Neil's sore spot.

She quickly retorted, "It's not like Maja said. Glenn always treated her as a sister. How could he do such a thing."

Maja took a deep breath, and her eyes were full of impatience.

"Fine, then why did he chase me recklessly?"

"It must be you who seduced him. Maja, you’re shameless; you even seduced Glenn, your own brother!"

Maja then opened the door and bumped into Tricia, who was coming in.

Tricia saw her so disheveled, then a glint appeared in her eyes.

But that wasn't what made her happiest. The happiest thing was she didn't need to leave the Pennyfeather family!

Maja walked out of the hospital; she knew she was emotionally unstable, and couldn't drive, so she just walked along the road.

While walking, she felt her cheeks were wet. She sat on the nearby chair and wiped away the tears with her fingers.

It was noon. The sun was shining, but she sat there, feeling completely vulnerable.

Ian watched her from a distance in the car, subconsciously picked up the tissues beside him, and also took out the sun umbrella from the Rolls-Royce.

The last time Maja broke the umbrella, the manufacturer sent a new one overnight.

He was about to walk to Maja but saw someone had already walked towards Maja before him.

That person was Nathan.

Nathan came to the hospital to get medicine for his sister; he didn't expect to bump into Maja. That was a good opportunity for him to show his good side.

Seeing him, Ian paused and stood still.
