Chapter 595 The Next Move
Gianna really could not afford to wait any longer.
“How about I go spend more time at the Jordan Estate and build some connections? Maybe if I make that old hag happy, she’ll loosen up faster,” she suddenly suggested.
Gianna believed she was very good at charming people. Otherwise, those idiots from the Nygards would not have been so completely wrapped around her finger back then.

So she was convinced that winning over the Jordans was only a matter of time.
Regina knew very well how skilled Gianna was at manipulating people. She nodded and said, “That does sound like a good idea. But how are you planning to get into the Jordan Estate so suddenly?”
“That’s easy. Brielle, that thick-headed idiot, is actually pretty close to me. I can start with her. On top of that, she hates Amelia just as much as we do. When people share a common enemy, things are always easier,” Gianna replied confidently.
Gianna felt she had a real talent for these kinds of schemes and knew exactly how to handle them.
“Alright, then start with her,” Regina said approvingly. “Not bad. You’ve really grown up.”
Hearing her mother’s praise made Gianna smile.
But the moment she did, the wound at the corner of her lips stung so badly that she hissed in pain.
“It hurts so much. I seriously think that bitch Amelia hired someone to beat me. I said a few things to her that day, and she couldn’t talk back. She must have held a grudge,” Gianna complained.
Not to mention, she had also schemed against Amelia earlier in the private changing room. It was not impossible that Amelia wanted revenge.
“Based on what I know about Amelia, she doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would do something like that,” Regina said thoughtfully,
If it really was Amelia, that would be one thing. But if it was someone else, that was more troublesome.
Not knowing who the enemy was or what their motives were made things uncomfortable. Being in the open while someone else hid in the shadows was never a good feeling.

“Alright, don’t worry about this for now. Getting close to the Jordans is the most urgent thing,” Regina said.
Compared to Gianna, Regina herself was just as anxious. She desperately wanted to move into the Jordan Estate and live openly with Esmond.
Lately, she felt her body was not quite right. Small problems kept popping up more frequently.
She worried it might be a side effect of the genetic modifications, but she did not dare think too deeply about it.
Right now, all she wanted was to enter the Jordan Estate openly and take her place as Mrs. Jordan in full glory.
Not long after being beaten, before her injuries had fully healed, Gianna attended a socialite gathering.
Although she no longer had the Nygards as her backing, she had attended plenty of these events back when she was still their adopted daughter.
Because she was extremely active and enthusiastic about these kinds of gatherings, she was already a familiar face among the group.
So even though she had cut ties with the Nygards, her connect with these wealthy socialites
ran deep and did not simply disappear.
She did not come this time to chat or show off with the other wo
Her main goal was to find Brielle.
“Oh my God, what happened to your face? Did your cosmetic surgery fail or something?” Brielle exclaimed when she saw her.
Brielle naturally did not think Gianna had been beaten.
There were suddenly so many marks on her face. Some had mostly healed, but others were still visible.
So it was only natural for her to assume they were scars from cosmetic procedures that had not fully recovered yet.
Among wealthy women and socialites, minor cosmetic work was nothing unusual.
“I didn’t get plastic surgery,” Gianna snapped.
