Chapter 560 Wrong Time of the Month
Amelia was more than happy to hear him say that.
With Josie and someone he trusted helping out, she could relax a lot more.
“So, since I’m helping out now, don’t I deserve some kind of reward?”
Jeremy looked at her with a completely serious expression.
“Huh? What reward?” Amelia was a bit confused.
This man was actually asking her for a reward? Was he staging a rebellion or something?
Who would have guessed-a certain someone leaned in close, pointed at his own check with those long, elegant fingers, and said with utmost seriousness, “I’m going to need a little something sweet, or I won’t have the energy to call my classmate.”
Now Amelia finally understood what he was getting at.
She couldn’t help but press her lips together in a smile, mentally calling him a sly fox.
They had already arrived home, and she immediately turned to dash toward her room.
Jeremy’s long legs carried him two strides before he scooped her up and pulled her into his
arms.
“Trying to run? Where’s my reward?”
Amelia huffed and planted several quick kisses on his flawless, handsome face.
“That’s it?” He raised an eyebrow.
“That was already triple the payment. What more do you want?”
She was really letting him push his luck.
“Those little pecks? I thought some kid was kissing her daddy.”
Without missing a beat, Jeremy leaned in and kissed her.
His lips claimed hers like a conqueror, advancing relentlessly without mercy.
That intense, domineering energy was on full display, making her heart race and leaving her completely defenseless.

After what felt like an eternity, Jeremy finally released the breathless girl. His voice was low and teasing. “Call me darling.”
“Shameless!”
“Then just call me baby instead.”
“Say one more word and I’ll kick you out of my house,” Amelia shot back fiercely.
This annoying man was living in her house, and he still had the nerve to tease her like this.
Outrageous.
Well, she wasn’t about to let him push her around.
“Then you could move into my place instead. I guarantee you’ll be satisfied.”
“Get lost.”
Amelia’s “get lost” didn’t make him budge at all. The next second, the world spun around her, and she found herself sitting right on his lap.
“Let me hold you for a bit.” Jeremy’s voice was husky, laced with unmistakable desire.
Sitting on his thighs, Amelia naturally felt a certain physical reaction from him.
This wasn’t the first time she had noticed it either-it happened almost every other day.
But even so, she still couldn’t help but blush.
“Move.” She tried to get up.
“Can’t move. My legs are stuck.”
He held onto Amelia, nuzzling against her.
The temperature in the room spiked, filling the air with undeniable heat and tension.
Amelia’s cheeks burned from his teasing, and she felt strangely flustered. She raised her hand to push him away, but he caught her wrist and pinned it against the back of the couch.
His hot breath fanned against the side of her neck, his voice carrying an undeniable intensity. “I want you.”
His words made her even more acutely aware of that burning presence, causing her to gasp. Her face turned so red it looked like it might bleed.

Even the air around them seemed to be tinted with a rosy hue.
But she quickly composed herself.
Her beautiful eyes darted around mischievously, a sly glint appearing in them.
She patted him and said calmly, “Don’t get any ideas. It’s that time of the month.”
Those words hit him like a bucket of ice water, dousing most of his desire instantly.
“Fine. There’s always next time.” He playfully flicked her nose.
