Chapter 481 The Kitchen Shock
When Amelia eagerly offered to help him cook, Jeremy didn’t refuse.
Not only did he agree, but he also felt secretly pleased about it.

Once the two of them started working together, Jeremy finally understood the fun of cooking as a team.
It was surprisingly joyful.
He glanced at his mother, who was busy taking photos and videos of them, and quietly gave her a thumbs-
Whitney caught the signal right away and grinned from ear to ear.
Just then, Sabrina arrived late, helping Bridget walk in.
The moment they saw the open kitchen, both of them froze.
“You can cook?!” Sabrina blurted out in shock.
In Sabrina’s mind, Jeremy was always cold, powerful, and far above ordinary people.
A man at the top of the world, and now he was standing in a kitchen, cooking. It felt unreal.
What bothered her even more was why he was doing it for Amelia.
“Yes,” Whitney said cheerfully, clearly enjoying the chaos. “Jeremy is cooking for Amelia.”
Sure, she and Floyd would eat too. But honestly, they were only included because of Amelia. Pure bonus.
“What?!” Bridget’s eyes went wide. “Jeremy is personally cooking for that woman? How is that acceptable?!”
The old lady looked shocked, her face full of disbelief. She couldn’t/accept it at all.
Her precious grandson was actually cooking for a woman.
How improper!
Her beloved grandson had a noble background and a powerful status. People like him were supposed to rule the world, not stand in kitchens.
How could someone like him cook for a woman?
“Yes,” Whitney said, confused. “What’s wrong with that?”
“You’re asking me what’s wrong?” Bridget snapped. “You think it’s fine to let Jeremy cook for a woman? And for everyone, too?”
Wouldn’t that wear him out?
Bridget felt sorry for him already. After all, he couldn’t just cook for Amelia alone, right?

“It’s fine. Perfectly fine,” Whitney replied calmly. “Cooking for his future wife is only natural. He takes after his father that way.”
Then she patted Bridget’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. He’s only cooking for me, Amelia, and Floyd. It won’t be tiring.”
Which meant she and Sabrina wouldn’t get any?
Bridget felt her blood pressure spike.
“Oh, right,” Whitney added casually. “Bridget, you already had lunch before coming, right?”
“I didn’t eat lunch!” Bridget forced the words out through clenched teeth.
She had skipped lunch on purpose to eat with them.
Why did she snap at me like that? It came out of nowhere.
Whitney felt wronged. Normally, Bridget always ate early.
“Well then,” Whitney said gently, “I’ll ask Mr. Fraser to cook for you and Sabrina later. Don’t worry.”
That logic shut Bridget off.
Is that the problem?
Am I worried about not having food?
The real problem is that I and Sabrina weren’t getting to eat the food made by Jeremy.
That bitch had put it so bluntly, Bridget really couldn’t bring herself to say she also wanted to eat the food Jeremy made.
She turned around in a huff and went to sit on the sofa. As she did, she couldn’t help shooting a sharp glare at Sabrina, who had been silent the whole time.
She called Sabrina over to back her up and maybe even see if there was a chance to push the two of them together again.
Only now did she fully realize it. This backer was completely useless.
Hmph. A slow-reacting woman like her clearly not suitable for Jeremy.
Sabrina, who was on the receiving end of that glare, felt extremely wronged.
She had been dragged here by that old woman against her will. Not only did she get brushed off by Jeremy, but she now had to endure Bridget’s temper too.
She hadn’t even wanted to come in the first place.
The team had crumbled inside.
