The thought that she had been kept in the dark, treated like a fool while someone mocked her behind her back, made Emery shake with anger.

At that moment, Emery wanted to storm into the bedroom, wake Raymond up, and confront him face-to- face.

In her mind, she kept praying that everything was just a misunderstanding.

She composed herself and returned to the bedroom, lying down beside her husband.

The night was long. Emery didn’t sleep at all.

Before the weekend arrived, Amelia’s phone had already been bombarded with calls. Cora called. Then Whitney called.

Both of them were eager to invite her over as a guest.

She laughed and continued, “My troublemaker son was all chubby when he was little. He didn’t look half as cute as you do.”

Whitney looked at the little boy in front of her. He was smart, quiet, and very well-behaved. The more she looked at him, the more she liked him.

People said he was autistic, but in a medical sense, he didn’t seem that way at all. He was calm, polite, and easy to be around.

Whitney also loved good looks. She was definitely a looks person. When she saw someone adorable, her eyes naturally lit up.

Floyd was praised so much that his face turned red. His cheeks looked even softer and pinker.

He didn’t seem to dislike this lovely lady at all. He didn’t feel nervous or scared around her, not even a little.

“Huh?” Amelia said as she walked in. “Jeremy used to be chubby?”

She had just entered and immediately heard that. Her interest was sparked right away.

“Oh! Amelia, you’re here!” Whitney said excitedly.

She quickly pulled Amelia over, chirping happily like a little bird.

“Hahaha, yes! My silly son was so chubby before he turned three Come, I’ll show you!”

She excitedly rushed into her room and came back a moment later with several thick photo albums in her

arms.

Whitney opened one of them and said with a big smile, “Look at my silly boy. Doesn’t he look solid and heavy?”

Amelia leaned in and looked carefully.

Before the age of three, Jeremy really was much bigger than kids his age.

He was at least half a head taller than them and very sturdy.

Especially in the photos from before he turned one, he was so chubby it was hard to recognize him.
