“This is all a lie Natalie made up! This person isn’t my brother; he must be a fake. My brother has been dead for a long time. With Terence’s power, it would be incredibly easy for them to find someone, give them plastic surgery to look like my brother, and deceive you all.
“You can’t believe her. She claims this man who looks identical to my brother is the real thing. But Marcus was in a coma for so long, and all the doctors said his chances of waking up were slim. How could he possibly be standing here, perfectly fine and full of life? Is that even possible? This person is obviously a fake, an imposter who’s had surgery.”
Terence interjected, “That’s because you don’t know that Natalie nearly sacrificed her own life to save him.”
Natalie had poured her heart and soul into saving Marcus. Fortunately, she had finally succeeded in waking him.
When she saw Marcus wake up yesterday, she felt that every sacrifice had been worth it.
Marcus looked at Natalie, his expression complicated.
Marcus turned to Elaine and Richard. “Mom, Dad, Natalie is the one who saved me. If it weren’t for her, I’d be in a casket by now.”
Even though Marie kept screaming that Marcus was an imposter Natalie had hired, they had raised their son for over twenty years. The moment he spoke, they knew whether he was real or not.
They just never imagined that it was Natalie who had saved their son’s life.
Elaine Ward’s expression was a mixture of complex emotions.
But Marie kept shouting.
