Darren's gaze fell on Natalie, his tone dark. "Whether you pushed her or not, you saw my mother on the ground. Shouldn't you have helped her up? Even if you don't care that she used to be your mother-in-law, how could you be so cold to an elderly person?"
Natalie glanced at the people on the street. "Darren, you just falsely accused me and haven't apologized, but I'll let that slide. But look at all these people passing by. Why aren't you scolding them for not helping her? I have no connection to you, right?"
Nicholas raised his hand. "If you're going to blame someone, blame me. After all, I'm the man here. Helping an old lady should be a man's job. But in my opinion, she's a wicked old woman, and I wouldn't lift a finger to help her."
Nicholas was just too much!
Darren glared at Natalie. "You've certainly been busy. You used to pretend to be completely devoted to me, and now, the second we're divorced, your social life is blossoming. Doesn't Terence mind?"
Nicholas chimed in, "The fact that Natalie has so many admirers is a testament to her charm. Is someone getting angry now that they realize they chose rhinestones over a diamond?"
Darren was about to explode. First Terence, now Nicholas. His ex-wife certainly had a powerful allure.
He helped Victoria into her wheelchair, then looked at Natalie. "You deliberately brought another man here just to see me and my family at our lowest, didn't you? You're really something!"
Natalie laughed. She never realized before how busy Darren was, constantly trying to pin the blame on her.
Nicholas said, "She didn't bring me here. I brought her to watch you get what you deserve. I drove the sports car. You want the license plate number?"
Darren was fuming.
"I'm not talking to you. Get lost."
