Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 407

Marie was desperately trying to talk her way out of it, but Terence simply turned to the police, his expression cold.

“I have already notified Mrs. Scott of Starforge Dynamics to come here and bring the so-called stolen property with her. I’ll leave the rest to you. I trust you will handle this with impartiality.”

The officer nodded. “Thank you for your cooperation, sir. We will verify the details with Mrs. Scott.”

Marie’s world crumbled.

She hadn’t expected Terence to move so fast. He had already called Mrs. Scott and told her to bring the necklace. He hadn't said a word, yet he had already arranged for the police to coordinate with her.

It was over. Everything was over.

Her face was ashen. She wanted to argue, but her throat felt tight, and her mind couldn't keep up with Terence's devastating blows.

Natalie looked at Terence. His decisive actions had left Marie completely defenseless.

He met her gaze, his eyes deep. “When she framed you for stealing the necklace, she never imagined that this very act would lead to her own ruin.”

In that instant, the weight that had been pressing down on Natalie’s heart vanished.

She turned to Marie, speaking each word with precision. “You must have been so pleased with yourself when you framed me, weren't you, Marie? But you never thought it would lead you into this inescapable abyss. This is what you deserve.”

Natalie’s words hung in the air like a curse, making Marie flinch. After saying them, Natalie felt an incredible sense of relief.

She looked back at Terence, a genuine, satisfied smile on her face.

“No, that’s not it, it’s not like that!” Marie cried frantically. “Mr. Lockwood, please, spare me! Please, I’ll never go against Natalie again.”

Marie knew her end had come. If Terence didn’t back down, she was done for.
