Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 241

Before Natalie could answer, Terence lifted Lucas up.

“That’s my line, not yours.”

Did this little guy have no sense of priority? Even in his excitement, he should know his place.

Lucas looked embarrassed. “Sorry, I stole your thunder. Go ahead, it’s all you.”

Terence gave him a look that said, *That’s more like it*, but then he heard Natalie say, “It doesn’t matter who says it. Because even if you said it, I couldn’t agree.”

Terence was speechless. This woman always managed to frustrate him to the point of wanting to give up.

Lucas said, a little reproachfully, “Daddy, the reason Natalie won’t marry you is that you weren’t there in time. Someone else already swooped in to save the day.”

Lucas didn’t want to be too blunt. After all, both Nicholas and Patrick were tall, handsome, and looked like a group of walking models. More importantly, they had shown up when it mattered.

The image of Nicholas arriving on a heavy-duty motorcycle and whisking Natalie away to the venue was incredibly cool.

His dad, on the other hand, had arrived so late. How could Natalie possibly choose him?

“Daddy, why were you so late? You lost major points for that.”

Terence remained silent.

When he found out Natalie had suddenly gotten out of the car and taken a taxi, he had immediately hacked into the city’s traffic systems to locate her cab.

After she got out, he used surveillance cameras along the route to pinpoint her location. He knew the fastest person who could get to her was the racing champion, Nicholas.

So he had someone notify him, which was why Nicholas had appeared so suddenly.

As Nicholas drove Natalie to the competition, it was Terence who had hacked the traffic light control system to give them a string of green lights.
