Atticus's Odyssey: Reincarnated Into A Playground novel Chapter 1302

Chapter 1302: Plane Will

A blinding white light had engulfed the entirety of Eldoralth.

Beyond their world, the Eldorians could see the once endless darkness of space had become a whitish blur.

It looked like the world was traveling at light speed. At a speed beyond their pitiful comprehension.

The sight of the stars channeling their energy played continuously in their minds, and as they recalled what they had felt at that moment, a shudder ran through their bodies. Never in their lives had they ever felt so small.

Atticus had always seemed like a monster in their eyes. But it was mostly because he was a child below twenty years, capable of doing things centuries old beings wouldn’t dream of.

Regardless, they had witnessed something today. A scene that showed just who held the power in the universe.

Oberon’s gaze was focused upwards, staring into the world beyond with a serious expression on his face.

Eldoralth was ascending.

This was the realization that settled upon the group. And while there was mild anticipation at the fact that they were going to a new world they had never even known existed before, it did nothing to dim the tension that settled in each of their bones.

Atticus had done well to warn them of the dangers of the middle plane. A single mistake, they could have their world wiped clean and every one of them dead.

The powers of the middle plane were beings each of them could never comprehend, able to destroy their world with a wave of a hand. Oberon recalled the room turning deadly silent during the meeting.

Only Atticus’ serious voice had kept echoing despite the shudder that had traveled through the room.

Most of the hardened Eldorians had been shaking, and though it felt embarrassing to admit, even he, Oberon, had also caught his legs trembling.

Atticus had offered no words of encouragement, only warning. Only a heads up on what they should each expect.

’Is it worth it?’ Oberon glanced at their leader, Atticus. Until now, Oberon still fought with the question of whether this journey to the midplanes was worth the risk.

But he always reminded himself of their situation, of his place.

Atticus was their leader, no matter how young he was. He had saved them. He had led them this far. Without his presence, the current world would cease to exist. The nineteen races that made up Eldoralth wouldn’t have come together.

Without him, they would still be in a constant state of war. No, they would be dead.

Oberon released a large exhale and steeled his mind. He found solace in the arm of Jenera hovering beside him.

Both of them met eyes, and Oberon had to fight the smile that threatened to spread on his lips at that moment.

She had the power to make even the most weighty of things feel so light.

’She’s so beautiful.’ Oberon momentarily forgot about their ascension, about the impending danger. Instead, all he focused on were the two beautiful eyes looking at him.

’I should be the one reassuring you...’ Oberon thought, slightly embarrassed. He squeezed her hand back, and they both exchanged a brief nod before turning away. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
