Her voice was like a whip that slapped them on the back. The two of them snapped out of their thoughts and looked around when they saw Bai Meiyue staring at them; their faces burned with shame.

"There is no need to waste any more time." She took out two pairs of gloves and threw them at the two men. "Don’t touch the ball of energy with your bare hands. Make sure that not even a single piece of your skin is touching the ball of energy, alright?"

The two men nodded before taking the gloves and covering their hands. Only then did they heave a sigh of relief, as they no longer had anymore twisted thoughts when they touched the ball of energy.

Bai Meiyue looked at the two men running out of the penthouse and frowned. What kind of abilities have the two siblings awakened? The tied-up Fox was stuffed in the car which Bai Meiyue was going to drive, as everyone agreed silently that more than them, the one who was in the most danger was Bai Meiyue. Thus, they handed the ace card to Bai Meiyue. As for the soldiers who came with Fox, Bai Meiyue didn’t bother with them. She had no intention of dealing with them and nor did she have any intention of taking them along with her.

But the soldiers had already been moved by Fox. How could they let Bai Meiyue leave? They immediately rushed to the cars that they had stolen from others and slid inside them. As for the trucks that had come in earlier, they were all pierced by the icicles and could not be moved for the time being. There was no point in wasting their time.

They knew that they needed a new way to follow Bai Meiyue and Lei Qian; thus, they had already looked for some cars that they could use. It was a good thing that they were prepared for because it was just as they expected. Bai Meiyue really didn’t want to take them along with her. But how could they let her go? They couldn’t.

So, they got in the cars that they had prepared and then chased after Bai Meiyue and her team.
