Chapter 562: Scouting the perimeters

Bai Meiyue collected a few crystal nuclei to study, and then watched the rest of the team collect the crystal nuclei and turned around to walk inside the penthouse. She was tired after moving for so long; after all, she was more than four months pregnant. How could she stay as active as she was in the past? She yawned and turned to look at the rest of the team before saying to them, "You can dump the useless corpses of the bugs in the bush pot. They will clean it up."

No one understood what Bai Meiyue was saying, but that was until someone dumped a few dead bugs in the bush that was lined on the left. The second the bush got hold of the dead bugs, it swallowed them all without missing anything. Seeing this, the rest of the team started to grow excited and started playing a game.

Bai Meiyue watched them playing and shook her head before turning around on her feet and heading back home.

As soon as she returned, Mother Bai took hold of her hand and questioned, "What should we do now? How are we going to move in a matter of a few days? I just counted; we have a bunch of stuff, including some gas containers and solar panels. How can we move them all without letting others know that we are leaving without returning?"

Bai Meiyue’s eyes flickered. She thought for a while before saying to her mother, "Come with me."

Then, without waiting for her mother to say anything, Bai Meiyue made her way to the storehouse. Mother Bai could not understand what her daughter was trying to do, but she still followed her. Once the two women arrived at the storehouse, Bai Meiyue waved her hand and collected all the supplies that she had collected.

When Mother Bai saw that the things inside the storehouse had disappeared, her eyes turned as wide as saucers. She turned to look at Bai Meiyue and asked, "This—what is this?"

"I awakened another power other than ice and water," replied Bai Meiyue. Since she had told this lie many times, she was now proficient in speaking it. She calmly said to her mother, "This ability is called ’space’; it’s like having a storage space which has no limit. I can collect almost everything inside it without running out of space. So you don’t need to worry about leaving anything behind. Just pack everything up that you would need and go to the manor, which we have cleaned up with brother."

Mother Bai was shocked. She was still reeling from the shock of discovering that the things that her daughter had collected when Bai Meiyue told her that she had another ability. The more Bai Meiyue spoke about this ability, the more shocked Mother Bai became.
