Deborah felt a wave of gratitude toward Cynthia for helping her and Jackson. She was determined to outsmart Jordan and Natalie, and there was no way she’d let anyone mess things up for Ethan and Isabella.
“Deborah, you and Jackson are getting married soon, right? Families shouldn’t hold grudges. You and Jordan should try to get along.”
Deborah turned to look at Mandy, poking her right on the forehead. “Mandy, are you seriously into Jordan? I told you before, he’s trouble. Don’t let his looks fool you. Even if you’re looking for a sugar daddy, you don’t need to pick him.”
Mandy pouted. “All the other rich guys are old. Jordan’s still young, and I want someone young. Come on, Deborah, help me out. Set me up with him. Imagine the two of us running the Lane family together.”
