After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 565

“Natalie, I always knew you were the sweetest to me,” Sophia said, her voice full of affection as she cozied up to Natalie.

The two of them walked into the house, laughing and chatting together. Natalie asked the maid to bring Sophia a glass of warm water and some snacks, then sent everyone else away, leaving just the two of them alone.

Sophia, young and a bit spoiled by her family, wasn’t exactly naive. She had a feeling Natalie had something on her mind. After sipping her water and nibbling on a snack, Sophia turned to Natalie with a teasing smile.

“Natalie, you didn’t invite me over just because you missed me, right? Do you need something? I’m just warning you, I’m not that useful. If you want me to help with something, I might not be able to pull it off.”

Sophia liked to set the record straight up front, just in case Natalie was about to ask for a favor she couldn’t handle.

Natalie laughed softly. “Relax. I don’t need anything. I just realized it’s been way too long since we had a proper chat. I wanted to catch up with you, that’s all.”

“Sophia, you know you’re like a real sister to me. My cousins are actually jealous of how close we are.”

Sophia smiled but didn’t say anything. She knew perfectly well that, thanks to Ethan, both Natalie and Jordan had always treated her like family.

After a quiet moment, Natalie lowered her voice. “Did you hear about Ethan and Isabella’s divorce?”

Sophia nodded. “Of course I did. My whole family is behind them splitting up. I don’t know what Ethan was thinking. He doesn’t even love Isabella but still acted like he didn’t want the divorce. If it wasn’t for my grandma talking some sense into him, he might never have agreed.”
