She would have no face to continue in the industry.
After Yvonne said something to him, Julius's expression suddenly turned cold.
A moment later, a group of people stormed into the event hall.
They were carrying signs that read "MERIDIAN PLAGIARIZED" and shouting loudly. The scene instantly descended into chaos.
The commotion at the front was so loud that when Janina and her friends came out, they saw everything.
Janina's heart skipped a beat, but she quickly understood. This had to be Yvonne's doing.
And here I was, wondering what vicious trick she had up her sleeve.
Is this it?
Fine. I'll counter every move she makes.
When Janina appeared, the protestors grew even more agitated, pointing at her and yelling abuse.
"Shameless! How dare you copy Muse's designs! You've got some nerve. I'm a fan of Muse, and I can recognize her work anywhere. How dare you show your face on this stage?"
"That's right! I'm sure of it, she stole Muse's work! Everyone, don't be fooled by this fraud!"
"Get out! What even is Meridian? How can it compare to my Muse? So delusional!"
A chorus of insults rained down on Janina. If they had eggs, she would have been covered in them by now.
Janina stepped forward, facing the crowd calmly.
"Everyone, please be quiet! I can assure you that all of my designs are original. There is absolutely no plagiarism. Did someone intentionally send you here to cause trouble?"
Her words only fueled the audience's outrage.
Their voices grew louder and louder, quickly drowning out Janina's.
Seeing the situation escalating, Maggie strode forward authoritatively, shielding Janina behind her as her eyes narrowed.
"You don't even know the truth, and you're already slinging mud. You're doing this on purpose, aren't you!"
