In an instant, a bloodcurdling scream echoed through the room.
Clark's body writhed in agony, convulsing like a fish being scaled alive.
Blood gushed from the wound, pooling around the chair and soaking his lower body in a horrifying sheet of red.
Facing the grisly scene, Marjorie was unnervingly calm. She spoke into her phone, "Come in and clean this up."
A moment later, a man carrying a medical kit hurried in and began tending to Clark's wound.
He glanced at the blood on the floor and asked for instructions. "Miss Marjorie, should I use an anesthetic?"
"No need."
Marjorie tossed the scissors aside, pulled off her gloves, and snapped her fingers. Two bodyguards entered from outside.
"Hang him up," she commanded, her voice devoid of any warmth.
After the man finished stanching the bleeding, the bodyguards hauled Clark to the second-floor balcony and strung him up.
Clark struggled against the excruciating pain, the searing agony from his wound nearly causing him to pass out. He was convulsing so badly he had no strength to resist as they tied him up.
When the rope bit into his wrists and lifted him off the ground, the feeling of his feet dangling in the air finally shocked him into a sliver of clarity.
Marjorie had just castrated him and was now hanging him from a balcony. He realized he was probably not going to make it out of this alive.
Looking down at the drop of several meters below, another wave of pain washed over him. He was dying from the agony and just wanted it to be over.
Gritting his teeth, he used his last ounce of strength to roar, "Just... give me... a quick... end!"
Marjorie finished wiping her hands with a wet wipe, her eyes scanning Clark's twisted face. A cold smile touched her lips.
"Don't be in such a hurry. If I don't make you suffer a little more, how could it ever make up for the sins you've committed?"
Her voice was as soft as a lover's whisper, yet it carried a bone-chilling coldness.
With that, Marjorie went back into the room. When she emerged, she had changed into a white dress with a trench coat over it, looking pure and beautiful.
