If she hadn't shouted, those people might have actually started beating West.
Someone in the crowd came to his senses and pointed furiously at Janina and West.
"They're in this together! Everyone, throw your eggs! Get them!"
At his words, the crowd prepared to hurl whatever they were holding at Janina and West.
Seeing that they were about to attack again, Janina raised the bullhorn and yelled.
"Go ahead! Throw it, if you're not afraid of breaking the law! Let's see what's bigger, the law or you! I've already called the police. Your actions are illegal!"
Hearing this, the crowd froze, unsure whether to throw their projectiles or not.
When they heard the police had been called, the more timid members of the crowd quietly slipped away without another word.
Seeing that her tactic was working, Janina continued to shout into the bullhorn.
"The Tasting Room has a clear conscience! If this is our fault, we will take full responsibility. But if someone is trying to frame us, we won't back down. We will bring the truth to light, and we will pursue legal action against anyone causing trouble! If you're not afraid of the consequences, then by all means, make your move!"
Her words hung in the air. The crowd members exchanged uncertain glances, hesitating about whether to continue their protest.
Janina pushed her way out of the crowd and stood beside West.
"West, I've called the police. They should be here soon. Once these troublemakers get to the station, they'll quiet down."
Hearing that the police were on their way, the agitators looked at each other, and fear crept into their hearts.
Realizing the situation was not in their favor, they quickly dropped what they were holding and scattered in all directions.
Getting arrested for inciting a riot was no joke.
Soon, the dense crowd that had been pressing in on them vanished completely.
